More talent in his pinky than the entire top ten on the radio
Joe was born a guitarist and will always be a guitarist until his last breath. And this is why I've got big respect and admiration for this man. You're one of my inspiration and heroes, Joe, keep on rocking. God bless.
Hard working guy. Will go down as one of the greatest of all time. Gets a lot of grief I do not understand.
Joe's place is so cool that you can just plug into a couch pillow and it sounds good.
This guys doing pretty well for a night watchman at norms guitar shop😁
Joe Bo, an absolute legend. Even if you don't like his playing, you have to admire his level of guitar geek. Keep on keeping on, Joe
I get the impression Joe enjoys sharing his love for the gear and the story behind each piece even more than owning it.
IMHO Joe's voice is like a fine wine, improving with age. What a fantastic musician he truly is. We are all very lucky to get to witness all this.
He has the perfect spot for Nerdville East. Nashville Skyline, indeed.
Joe is a nerd and he knows it.
Lesson to you kids, make the most of who you are 😎
Best bluesman of all time. End of story.
Beside the fact that Mr B is a crushing player, he is just a cool guy. He makes no apologies for the fact that, like myself, buying stuff makes him happy.
I thought I was a guitar junkie until I saw Joe's collection. Saw Joe at the Hanover in Worcester, MA a few years ago....what a show! Amazing.
Seeing his vintage tube tester makes me want to see his NOS vintage tube collection. I would really nerd out on that. You know he has thousands stashed somewhere.
Outstanding guitar player and humble guy. Each one of those 1959 Les Paul's is probably $200k or more.
I love old worked guitars. No over priced Gibson Stolen Valor guitars here. Thank you Joe for being real and keeping guard at the gate to Guitar Heaven...
That Nocaster is one of the best sounding guitars I have ever heard in my life, wow.
Thanks for playing Walking Towards the Daylight. One of my favorite songs of all time. Back when I bought CDs.
Dude. You are a gentleman, well spoken and talented. Much respect...we are birds of a feather my friend. Shine on.
Mr Joe Bonamassa, keeping music dreams alive...and keeping the power company in business!
This is what happens when a man decorates his houses exactly as HE wants, with no compromises or other’s preferences. 👍
Having trouble with your lady...? ;-)
You mean "without letting the wife decide". Lol
F a womans touch !
@@rjlong89 "Touch" Joe has OBVIOUSLY... Never been Laid !
@@narvul Having "Identity Issues" NOT, " George Lucas " ?
What a pleasure! Thanks Joe for sharing your places like this with all of us You are the tops 🌴🌴 & I like that you brought palm trees to TN 🌴🌴 Good Night
Thanks, Joe, for Fueling Musicians. You make 615 even cooler.
Well, this just shows we can be damn happy without another one on our neck. More time and money to live our dream. Keep it up man, don’t compromise.
Thank you Joe! I live out my guitar geekiness through your videos. I could never afford even one of those priceless instruments, but I get to see them, hear them, and learn their story from you. How cool is that! I appreciate your openess and willingness to share yourself and your passion with us lowly musicians (guitar freeks). Your music is salve to the soul, espresso for the spirit! I love your Redemption CD, and when you team with Beth Hart... Oh, the house is burnin' down! Great stuff Mr. Bonamassa! May God bless you and keep you strong and healthy. We need more musicians like you, humble, kind, giving, and down to earth. Two thumbs up! I'd give you more, but I only have two...
Thanks for the hang out and showing me around your place. So cool to listen to you play and hear you talk about your collection.
Was at the show last night in Augusta. Great show! Was at the Fox in Atl. Last year. Keep rocking. Thanks for being the man.
I love his attitude. Guitars are tools, spot on. He is the sort of guy who if you met him he would hand you is quarter of a million pound Les Paul to have a go on.
I've been listening to him for over 20 years he is awesome awesome 😎😎😎😎😎
Been a fan since I saw a special on Vermont Public Television pledge drive about 10 years ago and they were giving tickets to a show here in Montreal if you pledged. Well, when I watched the pledge show and they put Joe on, my jaw dropped. I was amazed at his playing technique and what seemed a real blues mojo for such a young player( at the time). I have his CD in the car radio of himself and the fantastic, amazing new Queen of the Blues, Beth Hart ( Live in Amsterdam), aside from many other cd’s of his music. It’s set on “RPT” and it goes wherever I go. I wish Joe the best on his journey with the Blues and I really feel that he’s now carrying the Torch for the sound, the feeling, we call the Blues. Keep on Rocking! 🤘🎸🇨🇦. And you played with Joanna Connor, kudos my man, well done.... she’s also on my UA-cam subscriber list. The greatest tribute I witnessed, by Joe when he did the Royal Albert Hall concert, was when he played THE Strat of the Ages, the ‘61 Strat that was played by my ULTIMATE ( sorry Joe ) Blues guitarist, the late Great Rory Gallagher, who I’ve followed religiously since 1973, when I bought Tattoo, which 47 years later, I still have the original vinyl. Thanks Joe for that 🤟🏻🤟🏻 , it was a great memory.
I recognized the multicolored chairs on his patio from hanging on the side of a building cleaning windows nearby, Ha!
The bloom on those notes from Lazarus 🥰
And I've never heard a Nocaster that sounded like that. That middle position ...gah! Thank you Joe for being a regular Joe instead of a rock star
I came across joe by accident and boy am I glad I did! He is an amazing guitar player! One of the best I've ever heard !
You're the only artist I have seen multiple times in concert. My favorite to say the least. And the way you give like these videos. Been through a bad time and stopped playing, working on, doing anything with guitar. As soon as i start back after 8 months I see this video. Thank you. I am a disabled veteran with not any reason to smile. You left me smiling.
Hey man, I hope things take a turn for the better in your life. Keep playing - it will help! Best wishes. :)
@@Johnny6666 thanks brother
Such an incredibly talented, humble fellow.
Thank You Joe for caring about Guitar history. You are not only a Great guitarist, but a fine person.I hope you can buy many, many more wonderful instruments to rescue.
He is a pure genius i believe
Love this song.. going to Nashville in late September and want to know if tours of nerdville are available
It was exhilarating to watch Joe go through his place in Nashville, yet the great part was the song at the end.
I love that all of these get used or just played for fun of not on tour. Would be a shame if all collectors hid away the great collections of things and history for no body else to ever see, hear and just enjoy. Good on you Joe.
Love Joe. His sustained passion is impressive and is what separates the hobbyist from the masters
Fantastic! Love these inside glimpses into what makes Joe tick. He makes you smarter just by listening to him. Thank you Joe!
Jay Jay And you felt compelled to respond? Yeah. Back under your bridge.
@Jay Jay go listen to ppcocaine
THANKS JOE......I USED TO HAUNT FILLMORE EAST BACK IN THE DAY...I GET NERDVILLE EAST....I AM A LIFELONG GUITAR PLAYER.......MARTIN GROSH.LES.......I LOVE THIS GUY...ALL THINGS GUITAR.
Joe is a hero to the industry, as well as the Art...thank you, JB
Driving towards Daylight was amazing. Your voice is incredibly good, and it's a great piece of songwriting too. Excellent!
Would love to be the fly on the wall hearing the conversations between Joe and his GF as he decorates the house or buys another guitar, I am certain it is different then the ones the rest of us have! lol
Joe ..your gift is from a HEAVEN....one of a kind..the love you have moved music. Too a new level. .and you feel music.and play the love..thank you Joe..
No one can touch your love or feeling...keep it up. Love you new song.....can not hear enough .love your voice..feeling..the notes..living your life your way.....
16:30 Joe finally realizes this is all extreme.
A tip: you can watch movies on kaldrostream. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies these days.
A tip: watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Baker Cain yup, I have been using Flixzone} for since december myself :D
@Baker Cain yea, I've been watching on flixzone} for years myself =)
Only extreme to those who dont appreciate the history and significance of what he preserved. Or anyone who has collections.
On this episode, I sit on my couch and play 20 years worth of a teacher's salary (kidding....love Joe and all his collection...thank you for keeping the Blues relevant).
You are a groupie!
This is the best version on Driving toward the daylight live heard.
Joe, Thank you for all your historic narration! You are a fountain of knowledge! Awesome !
Quality and Integrity. I saw him in Iowa City many years ago at the Englert. He shredded the house down. Bonamassa rules. Cheers!
Thank you, Joe. That was great. It was meaningful.
The sign that he bought in Birmingham Alabama was at Highland Music. He bought a KLON from there too. It's my buddy Don's place. Very vibey. I mean, Joe shops there.
So WOW! This made my night. Got to actually sit back tonight and enjoy some videos and here comes Joe. I totally enjoyed this, it was almost like being there. I sat at my computer and grabbed my Strat plucked some strings and got to hang with Joe Bonamassa. Awesome. And when you pulled out that Gold Top I lost it. So want one bad. Awesome Awesome time Joe.
This was cool, kudos to Joe for spending the time to share
Great video.
Just like hearing someone indulge their passion.
Also I want that Nocaster.
How much do kidneys go for on the black market these days??
Wow that nocaster is truly insane😍I'll never be able to have this, so I'll just keep listening to you playing it🥲 Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece with us😊
Love the nerdville series! Joe you Def speak my language I’m loving the signs the history the guitars the gear thanks a million!

Thanks joe love your channel and your music it's always playing in my house great to see one my idol's so humble and gracious... 🎸🎼🎶🎵🎶🎵
Truly one of my hero's thanks Mark from Australia...
Joe’s voice just keeps getting better! What a talented guy!
lazerus is so cool. glad you went with your hunch!!
I'd love to see it in person when I'm in Nashville this summer.
I'm really into musical home decor. I have mostly Fender decor scattered through out my apt including the bathroom along with my 17 guitars which is mostly various modded Strats and Epis (Poor man's Gibson). 2 Les Pauls, 1 Les Paul Special, 1 SG, and a V. I love my Epi's. They look great, they sound great, and they feel great. Joe it was a great show you put on in our small town of Las Cruces, NM. at The Rio Grande Theater back in Oct 2007. Me and my buddies met you and your band out back of the theater and you signed my A New Day Yesterday cd on the pic where your holding a Tele. (Dammit I should have brought one of my guitars!) Awesome tour! Hope to see you play again here in the in the borderland region (El Paso, S. NM) sometime in the near future.
Great musician and singer. Seems to be a good person too.
Yup, it's his soul that makes his music what it is . . .
I saw him several years ago and he stood outside in the rain for an hour after the show meeting fans and signing autographs. Got to meet him and get a picture. He's the man.
Joe, you´re a very blessed man**** thank you for sharing this all with us !
Love that tune!! Would love to live in a place like that, so many cool vibes! Thanks Joe
Imagine being next door to Joe and be able to listen to him play.
I'd turn up my hearing aid! LOL
Actually I don't have a hearing aid, but if a hearing aid would tune in to Joe playing his guitar over all the miles, highways & byways, hills & valleys, I'd get one real quick! 😂 😃 😊
I heard joe had everything at his house soundproofed so not to bother anyone.
Thanks Joe!
Lazarus and the Nocaster , joe you’re my guitar nerd hero
Thanks, Joe, for allowing us into your east home in Nashville. Charlie & I will see you again on the road somewhere; Biloxi or New Orleans. Best! AE
Hello from Poland:)
Nice 1972 Marshall 100watt Super Lead heading here soon!
What an incredible exceptional collection... how fun to hear you explain all this great stuff. Knowledge is off the charts of history for all of it. You’re an old soul Joe! 💖😎
Even a Spade with strings on would sound great in your hands , Joe !!! ... Neck pickup on your Lazarus gave goose bumps !!! ...
The "Loreley" is really fantastic - the guitar and the place in Germany. Thank you very much for sharing the history of your instruments, Mr. Bonamassa. I have learned a lot. You are always welcome in Germany.
Love the Casino Ballroom shoutout, I live 10 mins away from Hampton beach NH! Great place to see a show!
Thanks a lot for the interview! I like his addiction to collect those old guitars and amps! FR
Stunning. Fabulous.
Now I know why my cousin bought a Fender Bandmaster amp for his new Fender Jaguar back in 1964 at a Fender studio in West Allis Wisconsin. It was the first electric guitar I ever played and went on to own several over the years and you signed an older one that showed being played a lot! You signed it at a Gibson studio next to the mall in Fort Wayne, In. and you said it looked cool! You filled in the blanks for me with that 1964 sign! Thank You! you are the best!
Never lose that passion for the instrument Joe!
People hate on Joe, but he loves music and instruments and seems to be a genuinely good guy.
THANX JOE FOR JUST BEING........JOE. MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT
I was 15 in 78 and painted with spray paint a 71 studio,,,royal blue.....Didnt know any beter.
Love you Joe, sharing your guitars, homes, thank you
A few years back I was part of crew building a cabin for the Wurlitzer's up by the Trinity Alps. I like the sign too :0)
Great version of driving towards the daylight
The lobby… is freakin great!!
I don’t like his music but I LOVE his knowledge and love for old gear. I can hear him talk all day. Props to Joe for doing what he loves.
Props to you for being able to compliment someone whose music you don't necessarily like. We need more of that attitude in the world 👍
Damn that tele! It really brought something out of Joe too, great to see :)
*edit* BOTH of them 😂
Jeeez....this guy is wonderfully eccentric, in addition to being an awesome guitarist. Full of talent and self-depreciation in equal measure 👍🏻👍🏻
Saw joe with Lonnie brooks in marysville Oh on a Saturday labor day weekend came back home to Indy and saw him on Monday with Buddy Guy! Good weekend.
That guitar sign is bad ass.
So Awesome ❤️💯
Thank you
Great Joe thank you.
Thanks for sharing Joe!
I think 59 Les Pauls are magically drawn to Joe
Thanks Joe. Love the set up.
