Might I add...this drumming is sinfully overlooked. He doesnt add too much, and he doesnt get lazy with consistency. It"s really a dazzling trio.

I was about to comment how they sound so much like The Oh Sees and saw your comment. I havent heard the rest of Slift's songs but this one I'd say it sounds WAAAY too much like The Oh Sees

@@platetechfonics7006 Technically it's "an " because the sound of "S" is spelled with an "euh" sound. "A" "S" sounds liek 2 glottal stops and sounds bumpkinish. ughh..ahh..... "An" rolls onto the S's better by not creating a double stop.

The whole performance is really pure.

Loveshades 41 everybody is copying oh sees these days, half the bands in Minneapolis right now sound like half baked oh sees rip-offs. Even wearing their guitars in their armpits like Dwyer.

Obviously, Oh Sees and JPD fans but IMO they have enough going to say they are influenced by the Oh Sees and not a ripoff. But I could see how one might make the case for the latter.
