That is a spooky coincidence, I actually seen my first Sprite (on oyster) in person just last Tuesday while I was away. From looking at photos of it, I’ve always thought it looked odd and the crown and datewheel being on the wrong side just upset my karma. However, seeing it in person it didn’t look as bad and actually quite liked it, although my karma was still slightly upset 😂 I’ve seen various Panerai destro models and for some reason they don’t look as awkward, although that could just be how I see them. On the other hand (see what I did there) is that a meteorite Pepsi you are wearing Oscar? That is quite probably my grail piece!
I see what you did and I pinned the comment immediately 😭😭 OK so Pepsi Meteorite is my all time favourite GMT (even beats the SARU for me) it’s not always about value which is nice. The watch just drives me nuts HOWEVER there is also a white gold blue dial Pepsi that warrants a try one before you jump in the water because it’s dramatically less feels exactly as expensive AND is way way more legible. Don’t get me wrong meteorite is the F U version but do check em both out. I love the fact it weighs a ton but to a layman it looks like ‘just a Pepsi’ type thing. It’s like all the excitement is in wearing it 🥳🎉
@@officialwatches1 I have seen the white gold blue dial Pepsi, and actually know of someone that has one, but the meteorite dial just does it for me. The way each dial is different and that it actually fell from space. I know it may be less legible, but I love a white/light coloured dial and against the blue and red bezel it just looks fantastic! If Rolex released a white dial stainless Pepsi, I would be all over that. I know there are meteorite Daytonas, but the Pepsi just blows them out the water IMO. Would love to see you do a video on the Pepsi meteorite.
I just got my sprite and it’s my first time having a dedicated lefty watch that I wear on my right wrist. Yes, I agree that it’s going to take some getting used to since I don’t have a callus and can definitely feel the crown digging into my wrist. Still absolutely love and glad to have a watch that is designed for a small population.
Great watch, I wear it on my left wrist because it doesn’t rub on my wrist bone! Also I Can’t remember the last time I used the crown on any watch while on my wrist!? You can never go wrong with Green on a Rolex!
100% I never use the crown on my wrist (although I do wear on right) but I never understood why that was such a big deal for people 😭 surely you just take it off. Wind. Set etc I am wierd though I always have been 🤣🤣
I have the watch since almost a year and it wears like a glove on the right wrist! It is so comfortable on the jubilee that you almost forget you are wearing it. And it is indeed something fresh & different in a world full of Batmans and Pepsis...
It’s great on the left hand for the reasons you mentioned about the crown digging into the wrist, but the only downside for me is the crown have the tendency to catch my sleeves/ cuffs.
Its not even for the reason that its made for lefties or wearing on the right arm, actually it was made to be a oddball because it looks different and difference counts to most buyers. Actually it makes more sense and comfortability to wear it on your left arm for crown nuisance on hand by digging in to it.
Another great video Oscar. I love the colour combo on the Sprite as i think the green/black bezel looks so good with the black dial (Kermit/Starbucks are by far my favourite Subs) but I'm afraid there will always be something about it (or perhaps it's my OCD) which makes it look lop-sided to me. I felt that Rolex issued it to prove they could do something "different" but I'm not sure there was all that much difference other than reversing certain parts. I think a lot of buyers saw this as a "novelty" watch and bought them hoping for a quick discontinuation and a rise in value.
Old school Kermit is the NUTS I’ve literally just filmed a really special flat 4 version for UA-cam. Coming soon 😎 yeah I’m agreed on lop sidedness but it fits me well so I can’t complain too much. Thanks for watching and taking part my friend 🤝
I wear it on my left hand. Purchased it because the crown was on the left so I could wear it on my left wrist without the crown stabbing into my wrist.
I have one, i was lucky enough to get a very early one. i wear it on my left wrist and find it slightly uncomfortable at times, granted i do wear my watches very tight to the wrist. takes a while to get used to the dial layout and i have to set and wind the watch upside down otherwise it feels very unintuitive. i love the watch but i do find myself wearing other watches ahead of it.
I absolutely agree on the upside down aspect that is exactly how I’ve been setting it too!!!! I also wear them tight 🎯 thanks for watching and thanks so much for taking part 🤝👊
Just pulled my sprite on jubilee to watch this review with me, love it my self but i've decided not to wear it and hold it for decades to come, something I enjoy because I can still handle it at times like this..I just finished the video and I would say if the watch is digging into her skin like that it must have something to do with the way the watch is sized or the micro adjustments need to be moved a pin in or out. this is from personal experience by the way but i'm a LEFTY and enjoy wearing my watch on my LEFT WRIST, and at times I would ask myself "lets see what it looks like on your right wrist" so I put it on my right wrist and noticed the fitment wasn't the same which led me to discover our wrists vary ever so slightly in diameter so this must contribute to that lose fitment. I also wear my watch above the bone and tucked back ever so slightly so when my wrist bends up I don't wear the bracelet too much over time. I would also add I wished they did something with regards to unscrewing the crown and moving through the movement its annoying sometimes but over all if this watch goes in the next few years or even next year its going to be a piece that might be as cool as a bakelite bezel Pepsi maybe. I would never let mine go, and in fact I have a few more to go from Rolex one being that BEAUTIFUL Meteorite Pepsi definitely a Grail piece
WOW that’s an absolutely fascinating read thank you so much for sharing all this information which will no doubt be hugely helpful for the community here. THANK YOU FOR WATCHING 🎉🤝🥳

I'm a left handed person and yes I would love to have a watch that was made for me. That said Bretling doesn't make a left handed watch so let's give Rolax a try. I don't quite get the way of buying a desired Rolax? I see them advertised for 12k but when you go to buy one ( which they don't have) their asking 21k, it seems like buying a car at the dealership. What you advice on purchasing a Sprite! South paw...
It’s a tale as old as time! They actually do have them you could get one today if you also bought a £40-£50k piece of jewellery with a 90% profit margin for the AD. Unfortunately the AD gets the single most rubbish deal for selling you a stainless steel Rolex. So in comes the only way for them to make any money. They use a system called ‘bundling’ where they essentially tease along Datejust/then women’s diamond/then undesirable model all the while giving little treats in the middle to the biggest spenders. The reason why business is like ours is so successful now is because those big spenders (certainly the ones I have met) all have one thing in common, more money than god! & especially in cities like London, Paris Dubai the competition is as fierce as ever to get all the way up that list for your sprite. At time of me typing this We sell them for £16,000 week in week out. Brand new unworn full set. The watch enthusiasts I’m meeting in my stores are seemingly getting younger and younger. Now I don’t know if you know any fairly wealthy 20 some things but one thing that generation will not do is wait a second let alone 3 years to get a watch that they decided they wanted on Instagram two hours ago and they’re driving down to collect it 🤣🤣 I hope this has been somehow helpful. If you ever want to talk to me you can I have 311 watches right now you name it from Tudor to Flying Tourbillons. +44 7950 422331

Oscar, Im trying to figure out what is your wrist size.. 7.5 inch? Do you wear that jubilee bracelet fully linked or do you have to take any out? I wear mine fully linked and your wrist size looks identical to mine from what I can tell so just wondering! Thx!
Hi there thanks so much for watching!!! I am indeed full links on every Rolex i have come across so far (I usually have the micro in the middle hole!) so not furthest out but not closest in. I hope that is somehow helpful!!!! 🎉🎉
