Really like this watch. Of all 4 modern Rolex GMT’s this one makes the most sense: Black for evening hours, blue for daylight hours. Also, the blue 24hr hand blends into the background and is only there when you need it
I'm currently at month 11 on the wait for the batman gmt. Signed up for it in January 2024 at 2 rolex ADs. Time will tell how long it will take or if i will ever get the call. I dont have spend history with them after all

So cool! I never saw you first Batman video. I bought the same watch in the same year (also in the PNW). I bought it the year my son was born but got on the list before that so I can claim that was the reason. I don't wear it a ton for some unknown reason but It is probably my favorite watch. This video has inspired me to break it out again so thanks my fellow rainy winter gloom compadre. Also, the Bruiser was the leader in the clubhouse for this watch when it first came out but that name was quickly replaced by our favorite caped crusader and we are all worse for it. Have not heard that nickname in years.
I bought a watch from AMZWATCH lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.

Man - when my kid was born, I bought a bertucci field watch. I love it. You're right, it's the memories that make a watch. And looks. But mostly memories....mostly, right?
Probably the only time I would pick one of these up is if it's by chance. I've moved on to different brands because time is too short to wait on some wait list when I need to purchase other watches I don't want to get the one I might. I can that on my own well enough.
since you mentioned not wanting to do math, there's another way to use the bezel! Instead of reading the 24-hour scale and using the GMT hand, you can rotate the bezel however many hours forward or backward for the time zone, then I orient my wrist such that the bezel's 12 o clock triangle is pointing vertically, and then re-reading the time from the hands using that new orientation. if you're only dealing with +/-3 hours anyway, lol. another fun bezel trick if you never use it: you can use the 12 o'clock triangle as a marker for the start or end of casually timing an event, aligning the triangle with the minute hand either at the present time or however many minutes ahead. it's like a poor man's chronograph in that way!
But the part about memories being associated with a timepiece. This is definitely great advice because every time you wear it, those memories will flood back in and make your day brighter.
I bought my BLNR in 2016. Went in to buy a Hulk, they didn't have one, but offered me the BLNR. I bought it and wore it when my daughter was born in 2018. I have a photo the doctor took in theatre with the 3 of us and the BLNR on my wrist.

I have the newer one on the jubilee and love it. I would say it‘s my most comfortable watch - and really accurate. I wore it for a full week recently and at the end of the seven days it had gained 2 seconds. I call it my „murder-y watch“ and I tend to wear it more in the winter so it‘s covered by my jacket sleeve when I‘m out in public. I really don't worry about it much. I rarely stay out late and even when I do I'm with a lot of people. Plus criminals tend to stay away from me because my face is weird.
@@isaiahgray6415 @YoureTerrific Bark & Jack posted a video some time ago about being chased by a group of guys for his Sub. I think it was near London in daylight. But then Adrian doesn't have such an intimidating manner.
@@kevinkohler2750people in London rob in broad daylight. The police don’t do much about it.
That bracelet has the “hidden clasp”. Wish they would ditch the “easy link” and return to the hidden clasp.
How come you don’t have a 124060 submariner in your collection like everyone else? 😂 anyway, nice collection. I got a 226570 polar explorer 2, 126710 Batman, and a 125060 submariner. I’m eyeing your explorer 36 mm and that’ll complete my Rolex collection. I don’t want a datejust.
“Rolex doesn’t like to sell anything to anyone” 😂
Never liked the size of the font on the bezel. Too big. Much prefer the older gmt font size
We also don't care about what watches you own. We only care about finding out your wrist size.
I have the Pagani version - I’ll never get that one ripped from my wrist
I live on the ass end of the Earth. Only 2 Rolex ADs in this country. I'm a year into my GMT Pepsi wait... Have previously purchased Rolex from the same AD. But still I wait....
you actually have the better movement, 32xx movements have issues that all youtubers refuse to talk about but they exist
No they don’t.
@@rm8262 they do, well documented info out there across many forums w/ multiple test done by actual rolex owners w/ timegraphers. sorry but facts are facts.

@@rm8262Yes they do but a lot of you tubers don't mention it because they know Rolex don't like negative comments and they are nothing but shills.
@@MADLITS1K instead of being all cryptic about it, please elaborate and site sources if you are willing. It would be a big help for us on the waitlist❤
I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. MAMACOO brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !
“Obviously, it was worth it” stone cold😂
Oh wow a Rolex
Would you trade this badboy for a Pepsi on an original Jubilee?
Did you ever talk about your profession outside of youtube?
I'm just curious but don't want to pry.
I know his real job and can vouch that he's a professional nerd. No surprises there!
No, mine now.
I remember your watchuseek post on the Horofix springbar tool which led me to getting one--since I didn't want to pay Bergeon prices. Of course, i didn't know you then as the girthy 7 incher, but i digress.
