And I'm sure Disney etc take a sizable cut where their IP is being used. How much Pitcairn themselves profit I don't know, but they have a population of 42 people so you can imagine this does benefit them a fair bit, they also sell large silver coins (and even gold in the past) so there's money to be made for sure. First sensible comment. I had an English commonwealth games, and 103 coins in one bag. I done another hunt today and only had 10, but my 50p hunt, I had two Olympics, so all these bags are random and some rare coins still to be found. All good fun though going through, especially if it is a sunny day with a beer.
Great hunt. Han Solo £2 coin is the star find of the hunt, I think also a NIFC as well. Someone at the Royal Mint must've made the 'Disney-Star Wars' £2 coin sets, and somebody broke it out of a the set and spent it? I think it celebrate the 100 years of Disney.

Yeah those Pitcairn Islands coins are just some the coin companies sell to try and make some money. Not legal tender as they use the New Zealand Dollar i believe. So these £2 and also 50p coins will never see the light on the islands themselves. This £2 is one of the UK Bunc issues that someone has broken out of its pack to spend. Nice design though tbf

2016 Team GB Rio is approx £1.50 if you mean the 2011 Olympic Aquatics £2.00 but worth around £1,000 if it has waves going through the face. If someone was to pay that much. However, 50p all day long.

Sometimes it can seem UA-cam coin collectors find rare coins so frequently, that a reminder for us here mortals that it is less of than we think.
