I really love V Rising because you can customize your character how you want, so you're not stuck with one face only. Bloody Hell Hotel also looks fun managing an hotel and killing things, reminds me a bit of Hotel Transylvania.

Now related to World of Darkness, there will be a new interactive novel for Werewolf: The Apocalypse, called Purgatory, they did a very good story with WTA Heart of the Forest, same developers, but I don't know if same writers.

I am a big VtM fan, but Bloodlines 2 looks pretty bad. I especially did not like the main character, in Bloodlines 1 you had a choice between different types, but the one they presented in VtM looked like just a tomboy, which might be ok for a Brujah, but some like to play a more feminine character.

I've been looking forward to the Bloodlines 2 finally being released but seeing the first person view drained so much of the interest off. Allow a switch between 1st and 3rd person view. Options are always appreciated by players. But honestly, after the trailer my expectations are even lower. Textures look flat and washed out, and not in a good way, the voice acting sounds weak, the first person models look untextured and the hand of the vampire doesn't even touch the body of the victim when he feeds at the 2 minute mark. The 1st person combat looks like the old Thief games, complete with the unnatural hand bouncing when moving. Even the couple of examples of blood combat were very ordinary. And considering how great the first game did with character faces back in 2004, the two characters in the dialogue scene are a huge disappointment. Of course it's just a trailer, but after so many delays, there's not really an excuse for such a disappointing first impression of the product. This looks so average visually. This has been in the works since 2016 but it looks like it was finished in 2016. It almost reminds me of Redfall. Not a comparison to be happy with. I hope I'm wrong about it.
So, long history short: not a good year for vampire games. Took 20 for Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines to get a sequel, and I hope I can last another 20. To see if VMB 3 deserves a try. Because that one I pass.

Calling Elder Scrolls and The Witcher vampire games because they have vampiric enemies would mean they're also political simulations as well as you have to make choices.

Bc you have the choice to be a vampire and have your own vampire role play.
It's not a vampire centered game, but you can play the whole game as a vampire.

Development hell has pretty much destroyed any chance 2 had. They switched studios a time or two. Odds of it being any good are pretty slim.
