Due to construction and diversions, this is the current Stagecoach 59 route from ARI to Guild St. as it is right now. Apparently it will go back to normal at some point in August.

@@3donstreet396 I have that reaction when I see other people's videos, especially those of the past. I recognize the buildings, but occasionally there are different occupants or shops.
Just had a coffee in KL with a mate from Aberdeen 3 days ago (shes Aberdonian, visiting friends in KL) she said more shops are closing down these days in Aberdeen, and at times she had to travel down to Dundee for shopping, is it really that bad?
Can't fully speak to the needing to travel to Dundee, but I do know some shops are closing. The M&S at St. Nicholas Centre is going to close as the one at Union Square is expanding. Most of the new stuff on Union Street is restaurant-based. The newest two places are a German Doner shop and a Popeye's Chicken. It isn't ideal for some stuff and even the LUSH location from Union Street moved to Union Square just in time for Christmas at the end of last year. The plan is to "revitalize" Union St, but not sure how that will happen if it is partly closed for such a ridiculous length of time. When they have to put up signs saying "OPEN FOR BUSINESS", that doesn't feel ideal.
@@Sp0oney1 I'll be doing that. Managed to get some today of changes in a bus route that included bypassing a number of stops. Finally discovered it on the weekend, so had to take advantage and get the video today

I knew that was where it was going, but the fact that so many stops have been skipped has got to be irritating for a lot of people.

0:52 oh yeah, I know about diversion in this area. Westburn drive. Only 1 way is closed.
