I went to Aberdeen, once, around 1990. So much cleaner now. Oddly, it seems less busy too, unlike just about any other city in the world! filmed on Sunday, maybe
This popped up on my recommended and I watched because it's my home town. Good to see the place and so much has changed in a year. However you need to work on your driving skills. There was multiple times you cut a roundabout, you turned left from a Left only lane, cut across 2 lanes as well. Very dangerous moves for someone showing a driving tour.
Aberdeen becoming much popular with foreign students and immigrants making the city live and happy always other wise its not busy .. people the abodonians are so nice and friendly . Best people to live with .. We love aberdeen ❤❤❤❤🎉
Some of the comments from a 1 year were probably true, I'm afraid there's been a lot of changes since then. The city centre is virtually a no go area for drivers because of newly introduced bus Gates, and LEZ' zones, Union street is also suffering with the volume of shops who have relocated to other cities, or closed down altogether... there's plenty food outlets, phone repair , and bookie shops if that's your thing. I'm afraid the city centre is a ghost town compared to what it used to be. You hear the usual excuses from the Councillor's stating Covid, or online shopping was to blame for the city centre demise, once again I would challenge this as shops were pulling out long before the emergence of Covid also because of the high taxes, high business rates, also the above average UK Parking charges are to blame.
My home town, visited in September and couldn't believe what they've done to Union Terrace Gardens. Those glass monstrosities are hideous. What are they supposed to be? Completely desecrates the place and so out of keeping with all the original architect

i was in Aberdeen 12 years back, and nothing has changed !! nostalgic memories!
Its a great city tbh
I am glad to see my old flat, on Rose St. Cheers
This is so much better than a lot of places in England.
Good and bad in both countries.
Trust me, it's not. I used to live there.
It looks absolutely amazing. So clean!

A new city bypass has taken a lot of traffic out of central Aberdeen. Plus oil industry isn't as big as it used to be.
Union street is dead unless you want to buy a vape or put a bet on a horse.
The city has not really recovered from the lockdowns.
@@Backs4more Afraid you're right!
If you ever visit Florida during the winter, check out Frostproof Florida to see if it's frost proof..lol..

It's called the sliver city
Most other Scottish cities are made of sandstone. They are not derided for being brown. Except Dundee, but that's for different reasons.
