Houston TX has Kolaches in about every gas station, the sausage + Jalapeno ones have a Jalapeno cooked on the top of it. I'm in Des Moines IA now, nothing even comes close except "Coach's Kolaches" which is ran by a black guy from Houston lmao. I went there, it was good, he is in Urbandale now instead of Windsor Heights, not a big deal to drive north if you come into town.
