I've seen a solid 250 different asmr videos already but never once have I gotten those aforementioned "tingles" that so many seem to get from them. Of course they are incredibly relaxing but I was always curious as to why I never, personally, experienced them. That is, until now. I dont know how you did it but for the first time since learning about this sorta stuff I finally felt intense tingling, and all from bloody sand at that. Congrats on a new and loyal sub.

What an amazing video! I love the high energy focused on just one area. The dim lighting and the fine homogenous sand was a great combination. Your patterns tell a story that allows the viewers to roam free with their imagination. Lastly, I like how you start the patterns out of the view of the camera so that the sound of you manipulating the sand is the only stimulus.

Mieto ASMR Okay, I was just curious, because "mieto" means "mild" in Finnish :)
Miu Mau I actually went to google translate and looked up Finnish words. A lot of words were too long, but "mieto" was short and easy, so I picked that. Does it make sense though?
Mieto ASMR From a Finnish perspective, mieto is not entirely positive, but neither a very negative word. I guess the same is in English. Mostly it is used in context such as when coffee is mild or something like that (obviously, because most us love coffee). But if I'm thinking it just as a row of letters, seperated from coffee table conversations, I think it's a brilliant name; simple, easy to remember and people with different language backgrounds are able to pronounce it. And of course, you will eventually receive lots of amazed finnish subscribers who are excited about your name :D So nothing wrong with that.

I really enjoyed the video! Anyways, I wanted to make one of these gardens for myself. My question is what kind of fine grit white sand is that? I tried a couple craft stores and couldnt find any.
+Matt Rune Thank you. I believe it is decorative sand with a very fine grain size, my guess is 0,1 mm.
Can you do sand crunching?
