    I love my masters I’ve been in this game 19yrs and counting and still learning!! And i don’t go nowhere with out them!! its all on how you feel how comfortable you are with that certain clipper in your hands! at the end of it the talent comes from the indian not the bow and arrow! Respect brotha keep pushing for greatness!!

    Every time I see these very helpful barber tutorials, it never fails when they say, now I’m a go half a inch. But in reality that half a inch is like a inch and a half or that inch is a full two inches 🤣🤣🤣

    Somehow, someway, I think I've gained a far better understanding of fading/blending from this video alone than all of the other ones I've watched in the past couple weeks. And I'm only trying to do self-cuts...

    Nice cut man. If you want a tighter blend instead of opening hr blade all the way when there is no guard open it half way then to the next guideline with 0 guard open. I think the texture the andis leaves in the hair makes the cut look better man nice work

    Good tip to everyone cutting hair is to use the wahl detailers for the 00 , masters to fade that line out , 0 guard masters (will leave cleaner blends then wahl 1 guard) , 1.5 wahl guard , 2 wahl guard , clipper over comb , that is 3 guards to fade , the highest guard is a 2 guard open on fading , the 3 guard is useless and time consuming, the half guard is a masters all the way open

      Andis zero guard is a Wahl .5 guard. It's slightly confusing.

  • @alexandersandino1988
    @alexandersandino1988 4 роки тому +1

    Jorge when you said your client wanted a #2 1/2 on top. You said you had the #2 guard lever all the way open ? Wouldn't that equal to a #3 ? Shouldn't the lever be half way opened to create the .5 ? Since we are talking about Andis. Andis fully open to a 1 ? If it was Wahl then yes since it opens up only to a half. This has always confused me......... because do I need the #1 1/2 gaurd or not ?

    • @Matapatpat
      @Matapatpat 3 роки тому +1

      This might be a year too late lol, but when an andis master is lever open without adjustments, it's very close to a #1. When you 0 gap it, it's closer to .7, .8. So technically you're correct, but we're talking about such an insignificant amount of difference a client wouldn't hardly notice. the main benefit to a 0 gapped master is being able to get your bald lines out, and being able to hop between guards better!

    @jorgezepeda so i notice when you use the master you actually make a guidline with the 0 guard whereas with the wahl you go from no guard open to a 1 open then come back with the 0 if the 1 guard closed didnt do the trick. is there a reason for this? is one stretching the fade over the other? in other words why do you do this? lol

      Facts bro they are the same length.., I had a question if you don't mind :
      Why am I having so much difficulty with my wahl senior to take out the hair?
      I have to go so much times on it and always have spots that are fuller when doing the guideline for example :
      With the 1 guard left side is light than the right side I push really hard to the skin to have the same length to the right (something I noticed when I did my fade today) and I know for a fact it is not due to bulkyness cause I remove it first to make the process easier (with the 1.5 guard, and the blades are aligned correctly and zero gapped*) so yeah I don't feel like it really cuts compared to UA-cam tutorial videos I see around for example when they do the guideline with no guard it's so smooth for me while for me I see the hair going into the blades but it likes the blades rejects the hair I did the mistake to dig in and it cut too much.. that's why I have to go there at least 20 times to not make that mistake. One cut takes minimum 2 hours (when I cut my self and yeah I do have patience) and I don't really like the results
      PS : Maybe it has to do with my blade? if it is how to fix that without paying a new one?
