Reminds me a lot of smelt. We cleaned them the same way, but cut the heads off. I miss the days of getting hundreds using the drop nets in lake Michigan.
Man I have to say I have subscribed to many fishing channels I myself am from just north of Duluth mn and I just keep coming back to your channel every time! Love your content and the way you present it keep up with what you do! I had a friend and we were getting a few to many drinks and started cooking minnows on our heater the were actually really good and I have some small rivers I catch nice chubs going to try them!
I used to know a guy who cleaned trout starting how you cleaned the chubs Then he would take their head and peak it back and pull the skin off the fish in one swipe. I think he also cut the fins off before he peeled the skin off. It's been twenty-five years so I'm not sure.
