Your Capture One videos are the best and easiest to understand. I know they are a couple of years old but I have learned so much and will keep watching them over again. So easy to understand without feeling intimidated by your knowledge.
Thanks for the help. Just got Capture One and have not loaded it yet. With the dropper tool, can you select an area and have the program process an average of the colors (e.g sky, clouds, sand, etc.)? In a future video, after you have some more of the tool sets, could you walk us through your full workflow with Capture. Thanks and looking forward to more of these.
I’m not 100% sure I understand what you’re asking, but if I am right, I believe you can do that in the advanced color editor, which I have a video coming out on next month! I’m also starting to do “editing your photos” livestreams again with one this Wednesday! That will show my full process.
Our boy gettin’ that Capture One sponsorship, love it! Glad to see more content on using Capture One as well, especially on the color tool which is, imo, one of the defining features of C1 over Lightroom. It can be hard to find tutorials at times outside of Paul Reiffer’s live edit streams, so having more voices out there teaching is great.
Thanks Devon! Glad to hear it! My video on the other two color tools will be out next month! The tentative plan is that this year I will make a whole playlist covering most of the major tools in C1. It’s an underserved area on UA-cam for sure!

Love this, capture one is awesome and it's great seeing more capture one content from somebody I already follow
Been looking for better software than the Luminar 4 I am currently on. Eyeing Capture One for my photography and Davinci for my video, but having to weigh these against the adobe suite has me uncertain.
@@dunnadidit I got free davinci but then found out only the paid version supports a7iv footage 😅 so I either pay for davinci or Adobe and if I did that then I would end up using photoshop instead of capture one 🤦
@ currently my best card is 64gb of v30, so I have been trying to decide between larger v60 cards or getting a v90 at the cost of a cheap new lens LOL. if I can do it free then that's perfect, I already need to consider that my 16gb ram won't be enough and I should boost it to 32gb with some additional cards. for now most early content will be from a gopro8, but I want to shoot lots of B-roll I can use for an intro and for some cinematic practice, so as long as it works I can deal with file size later. though I do want to be working in 4:2:2 10bit 4K.
This was really helpful. I learned a lot in a short amount of time. I'm also interested in your take on the all fuss about AI In editing software. Since you came from Lightroom and they recently upped their game with adaptive AI presets it would be interesting to hear your take on this compared to CapOne's layers and styles brushes.
Once in a while I'll want to shift a colour past what you can normally do with the Hue slider, so I make another layer which allows me to push that colour even further.
You are awesome ! Excellent !😍
Thank you much for interesting and clear tutorials, mate!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
Great to have you back and thanks for another awesome tutorial. This scene and background is so clean love it dude 🙌
Thanks dude!!

I made the switch away from Adobe and couldn’t be happier

Davinci + Capture One = Happy Dunna
@@rboydphotography if you shoot all intra instead of h264 you can use the free version of davinci, all intra files are huge though

Haha nice!!
This is Golden!!
Haha literally!
Excellent tutorial! Thank you!
Thanks for watching Holly!
Truly best videos on C1! Can’t wait for more!
Thanks for saying that Laurie! Let me know if there’s anything you want covered!
@@dunnadidit I would love to see your workflow process from culling to importing to editing!

Great tip! This is how I do it too! Or use the advanced color editor.
Wow, thanks !!!
My pleasure!!
