Remember, by combining the powers of stupid and epic, you get an enhanced version of both.
Most other bands in the same genre I listen to don't really do number 2.

Not quite. Dragonforce still make quality music with effort put into the composition and lyrics, saving most of their goofiness for their cover songs and music videos. Alestorm just seem like they're trying too hard to make The Next Viral Hit (C).

I just randomly got this on my home feed... and guys, I didn't realize how much I needed the laughter I got from it! The best thing was it was lovingly done by people who truly appreciate the unique era and genuine, honest comedy. . ♡
You should check out their other stuff too. What made them famous was having the hardest song on Guitar Hero 3 and they're known for their fast and long solos.

After months of listening to Dragonforce without seeing the music videos, I have to say, these guys must be hella fun to hang out with. I really got into their music and am glad to see they don’t take things too seriously, it’s refreshing actually.
They are so good live! It's a fun kind of serious, but they are hard workers for sure.
I love how Gee actually looks like he loves playing it while the other seem like they're making fun of the cliché. Almost likes he's been waiting on this chance. Regardless, amazing song.
In every dragonforce music video I can never tell if it's the worst thing I've ever seen or the best thing, and I love it.

I have been following the band for 16 years, and I can say that they are the best, a band that has known how to evolve through time and does not settle for the glories of the past, they fascinate me, I hope they can bring a new keyboardist and want to play it. the essence of dragonforce

Check out Blessed by a Broken Heart's Pedal to the Medal or Feel the Power. Unfortunately it wasn't quite enough time since the 80s passed (2006-2010) when they tried to do this sort of thing.

I remember in 1984 driving to Pittsburgh to see Dragonforce. The glam metal band was in town, so I had to go! That same week, Dune came out with The Police. Years later, it feels like people are coming back to the 1980s. Glad Dragonforce is going back to their roots!

I had never heard of Dragon Force until I happened to encounter a Stevie T video in which he lampooned various types of metal bands and used Dragon Force as an example. Dragon Force is my favorite band now!

I also never heard of DragonForce until some time ago I heard a drum cover of Through the fire and flames by Junna. It was reacted by guitarist Herman Li and drummer Gee Anzalone (in two separate video's) too.
One of the best bands of all time. Epic musicians.
