What softwares or services can we use to create memorable useful business cards??? Like the cheese grater ? How can we make cards like that??? Do you have another form of contact? I do not have Twitter 🤷🏼♀️
For really unusual cards like the cheese grater one you would have to search for a company that could handle something like that. It would more than likely be a specialised metal working company rather than a traditional printer. For example, the company I used for my metal bookmark business cards specialise in laser cutting. You can then work with that supplier to discuss how best to set up the artwork to achieve the desired end result. The company I used was www.plasmadesign.co.uk

I asked someone in my niche who I know, about the card. He said he would literally take it with him everywhere! So that was good to hear 😁
@@heidilehman9009 that's what happened with my cards. People held on to them and showed them off to friends and colleagues. You won't get people doing that with a standard paper card. It is worth investing in things that are different and stand out :)
@@RockYourBrand exactly! A friend had told me I needed a standout business card. I had no idea what that meant. So started doing youtube videos like yours :-) to get an understanding! The business card I found is very functional so even if they say No to me upfront, they will keep seeing my business name every time they use it! So….🤷🏼♀️
Hi Frederick, the reason I don't do just business cards is that I like to understand a brand fully before I do ANY design work, and if I was to take on designing a business card for a brand I don't already understand and know then the fee would become uneconomical for the client as I'd want to do research on target audience, their industry etc so that I could make sure their business card stood apart from their competitors. I could take on a business card design, but the fee would be quite high to cover the research time. This is why creating business cards designs as part of a larger brand design project makes more sense as it is just one small part of a larger brand design exercise. The cost of the research phase is spread out over many items.
