Dear Beatles fans, It really isn't necessary to continue defending George's position in the group. He did stay with the Beatles until the bitterest end.
It was just a "what if..." situation, but in practice, many people listen to music with a single earbud and the simple fold down of the phone's mono setting sometimes sounds pretty bad
@@TheHollowBodiesBand I get that, I do similar stuff but I keep it in stereo, I prefer stereo but I do also think that wearing one earbud causes problems
@@seid3366yes! It was made with both the old Beatles Rockband tracks and with AI splitting. Some instruments came better from one source than the other. The orchestra is sourced from Anthology.
hello well this sparks a comment,,I never liked stereo 45s,in the late 60s I bought a 45 called a beautiful morning,in a stereo mix, then in the year 2525,not all record put out 45s in stereo, even at the 45 peak,in 71-72, 69-70,they still put out 45s in mono,it just a traditional version of the format, and it should have stayed that way, all the beatles 45s ,till let it be should have been mono mixes, the countries that put out their LPs& 45s,must have done their own remix, because they dont sound like, what is that term,FOLD DOWN MIXES,anyone have any info on this, thanks for any info,DANINFL,,,
hello again,on this so called mix,,did any other countries put out this 45 in mono, the british 45 was in stereo, did the record that was put out done in a fold down mix or was a seperate mono mix done by emi in england,,thakns for any info, daninfl,
It was probably released in mono in some places. I know Brazil and Argentina didn't completely get rid of the format until the mid-70s, and those records would have been made using fold-down mixes indeed. This video is a dedicated mono mix I created using several sources for the instruments. There is no known "official" mono mix for this song, or any other from Abbey Road as far as I know.
@@TheHollowBodiesBand When I heard it on CKLW in 1969 as a child, it was in mono, since CKLW was an AM station. However, they probably played a fold-down mono version just as you described. I think all AM stations that played in mono had to play it that way.

Sounds pretty good... I just don't usually see the appeal of mono in the age of headphones.
