Oh, my goodness, you did amazing! I'm so glad you put the disclaimer at the beginning that you figured out the outfit names. :) Looking forward to seeing what you keep and what you sell. Please keep a list of what you make off of everything. It will be really cool to see what you end up with how much (if any) of that $250 you had to spend, or if you get all of your money back and then some (I'm guessing the latter will occur). If it's overwhelming, just do it bit by bit. Selling things always motivates me to sell more things, so start small and let it build naturally. :) Have fun with the process!! :)
I was really nervous to start selling because I’m so inexperienced, but once I listed stuff on mercari it was all super simple! I will most definitely make my money back just with selling the dolls alone. I’m excited to get them to a new home for them to be loved! By the sound of what the lady that sold them was telling me, her daughters haven’t touched them in years. They are so ready to be loved again!
Ann, that is an AMAZING haul! I feel like this is your first foray into reselling, right? I thoroughly enjoy it. Buying lots is always so fun because you get to do your shopping and pick out what you want, then sell stuff and pay yourself back. Also, your niece is gonna be one lucky girl! Congrats on the great find (and I hope Dominic's car issue was a cheap fix).
It is my first time reselling, but it’s turned out easier than I expected! I’m excited to give this stuff to my niece. And dominick is always having some sort of vehicle issue unfortunately. He ended up just selling his car because he was sick of fixing it. But he was able to find something new and a lot nicer in less than a week!
I am happy for you ann as I know that you wanted some of these things. I have Emily and I actually have both of those Kirsten items without the doll because they came in a lot.
I've only gotten dolls locally twice i live in a small town as well. 2 hopscotch hill dolls with their boxes in 2015 and extra outfits and my mom found 2 bitty Twin dolls at goodwill in December I've gotten dolls off eBay manly and From American Girl too.
My goodwill never has American girl dolls, I think living in my small town has something to do with it. You have to travel to bigger areas to find the good thrift stuff, at least for me!
Whooaaa man you're making me wanna find a huge AG lot!! That's. Fantastic find!!! And that's sooo cute your gonna give the bitty baby stuff to your niece. The random Kirsten stuff was sooo funny. And i can't believe you have Emily finally!!
This is a great haul! I’m honestly shocked at the condition of 44’s hair in comparison to how amazing the rest were! Also that skating dress is not early AG it is from 2014!
It’s sooo typical with the curly haired dolls! They are easy to take care of, yet VERY hard to take care of. Basically is you don’t touch it, it will be beautiful!🤣
When I saw you pull out those bags of stuff, I got so excited for you! You should do a video about what you'll be keeping and what you'll be reselling. I know you mentioned you're selling a few of the dolls on instagram, will that all be listed on your mercari?
If I were you, I would use some of the money you get from whatever you plan on selling to send Emily to the doll hospital because she is such a BEAUTIFUL doll! I bought mine brand new in a box from Emily, and she is an absolutely stunning doll!
I was able to clean her up really good actually! The marks came off her face no problem and her hair just needed a good brush! A little extra love and all the dolls were in their full glory😊
The bloomers and the charm necklace are from Josefinas meet outfit!
Please do a “what I’m keeping” from this and “what I’m giving away!” Great haul!!
Yeah that will be so cool! 😊

I’m so happy to have Emily! She’s such a sweet doll. My childhood best friend had her, so it feels like I have a little piece of her with me now😊
