Looks like a fun but exhausting run. Nice job on the start - you nearly had it. I see some guys criticizing the KDX for whatever limitation it has -- it's not a race bike, it's a trail / woods bike on a budget but still capable of delivering a winning ride. Subbed.
I rode one of those kinda trails once, there was only 6 of us, but i remember my bike being a lot more on the top end. It wasn't quite as bad/technical as this, but not far. Sounds like your saving gas. Lol IM JUST JOKING... good vid
Great video! Enjoyed your comentary and crashes. I have a 2004 kdx220 and haven't seen that kind of mud in a long while living in N. California. I have a few vids on youtube also.
I am guessing this is your first Harescramble, First don't fix your eyes upon trees or objects, where your looking will take you directly to the object. Second, Stand up and grip with your legs tightly to help steer and get your butt back towards the back tire, bend your knees and use them as second shock absorbers. Lastly in mud your front brake will cause you to fall over especially while turning so use the motor to slow as much as possible. I hated mud races you never feel like your in control, new tires help. Congratulations on getting to the race and actually doing it. Seat time is the only way to get better, so on your races coming, up make sure you practicing fundamentals, elbows up, stand up and keep the bike on two wheels. Your bike sounded awesome so you have a great bike, good luck. 13 year scrambler!
Hello, here is Graham Jarvis. I must say that you really need to quit smoking... and be a bit more relaxed on the bike if you want to beat me at the next Erzberg Hare Scramble. Other than that, good video! ;)
I have a KDX 220 as well. My biggest compliant ... wimpy wimpy wimpy forks! It's also kinda of heavy for a 200. I hate to say this.... but I think I'm going to have to go to the dark side and buy me a ..... yes a KTM. Now to explain it to the wife....
When your bike is kick start and you still nearly pull the hole shot on a bunch of E-start bikes.

its a enduro its ment for climbing and taking hard fall
Wrong. It is a race bike. Go back and look it up. KDXs used to rule the Enduro world. They won a lot of the world championship titles in there day.
you did a great job...love the KDX220

Nice bike man and I thought you did a good job for it being muddy & nasty as it was. Loved your on the fly commentary "G-Damnit".
Man you did jus fine! I saw you take alot of smart lines, those mud races are tough!
Nice start

Welcome to the luminous path of KTM transformation. The forks are not wimpy, the engine is strong and the tranny is smooth! ;)
Put some heavier springs in the forks and they actually work pretty good
That course looks poorly marked. Looked easy to get lost where the corners are.
too bad people other than Friends of this poster find this as we look for good stuff to watch. Should be posted to Friends only maybe.
