I never had a brand-new truck. I was really used to carrying a small toolbox and boxes full of clamps, lights, and other stuff for repairs. So much has changed since I stopped driving 13 years ago. I enjoy watching the videos and seeing all the Automatic Transmissions, APUs, and other technological upgrades.
I don't driver for Crete, but I do drive a 2023 Cascadia. It is set to "economy" mode. I've always felt the truck was super weak. I got it at 86K and it is now at 295K. I got my start with Millis. I had a 2022 KW T680 with a Pacaar. It was significantly stronger. I love they changed the curtains from velcro to magnets. The T680 had magnets. The are so much better than the Velcro IMO. Good luck with the new truck! Hopefully it won't be a lemon and you won't have many breakdowns. Some trucks are virtually trouble free and some are nightmares. Just have to see what fate has given you over time.
You are literally a twin of my ex-wife! When I saw you video posted on the Crete Facebook group, I had to double check to make sure she didn’t start driving for Crete! LOL😂
My 2020 Peterbilt has a key fob. It also doesn’t have all the “ safety “ BS. Don’t know how you people sleep in a truck with that annoying opti idle. I used to pull a reefer, & those trucks would wake me up. Start & stop , start and stop, start & stop all night long

Yes, this is why I hate automatics. You probably have to drive it in manual when pulling a big hill, then You can select your own 😊gear.
Who's looking at you from the other truck?
It is still a company truck company driver . There trucks are junk when they sell them
