Reel Addiction III's Day One Tourney Recap | Westside Ahi Tournament

The offshore weather was wild, but the bite was on during day one of the 2024 Westside Ahi tournament! Despite 8-foot seas rocking the boat, we managed to boat some solid mahi and a nice Chucker in the sloppy conditions. With rain squalls and big swell, just getting lines in the water was a challenge!
But with the experienced Reel Addiction III crew, we persevered and made the most of the tricky environment. High fives erupted as we landed a bull mahi that would end up second biggest for the day - not bad given the sea state! It was all about taking what the ocean gave us and staying safe.
We can't wait to see what day two's conditions bring - hopefully calmer waters to light up the drags! This tournament is anyone's game. Subscribe and stay tuned for more hardcore tournament action!
