@@MarthTAS isnt the tas meant to manipulate rng? U can clearly do it cos of the perfect mega. Is it not possible to manipulate some items? I know when i use save states the item seems to sometimes be decided way before u even hit the box, how does the item rng work?
@@vincenzofranchelli2201 Yeah the tas manipulates item rng quite a lot. What item you get seems to depend on the specific frame when you hit a specific item box. Sometimes there is a span of frames where I would only get a single banana from a box, that's what I want to avoid. So in order to get a different item, I sometimes have to wait quite a few frames before hitting an itembox, which result some minor weird movement(you can see that at 2:49 where I get pushed away from KingBoo a bit after using the shroom, resulting in me hitting the next box later to get the mega). So most of the time I am satisfied enough to avoid a banana, even if I only get a single green as a result. I hope that makes it a bit more clear.
