I was the 3rd squad leader in 1st Platoon (2ndLt Ewers/SSgt Blanc), Fox Co (Captain Neil/1stSgt Scarborough), BLT 2/2 (LtCol Miller/SgtMaj Tilley) with Cpl Gasca on that deployment. He was a good Marine; a team leader in 1st Squad under Sgt Campbell, if I recall. I'm glad to see him doing well. That was a long and historic deployment.
    Great interview. Semper Fi, Brother!

It’s sad that there are so many ridiculous UA-cam channels out there that have millions of subscribers yet one as real as this doesn’t have much. I know that’s not what it’s about but it just trips me out. Keep up the great content. We need this. 👊🏼🙏

Thank you! UA-cam channels take a while to build honestly before the algorithm shows you "love", as long we we keep getting support and love from people like you, we will inevitably get there! Appreciate it!

We lucky few get to enjoy some of the best stories on the internet. It is crazy a couple of weirdos can say “ island boys” and have millions of subscribers. The sheeple are plentiful. Lucky for them we sheepdogs will protect them. It’s becoming clear we need to let the herd thin a bit next time they need protection. We know the sheeple love the Shepard as they walk into the slaughter in the end.

So many good stories, my son is a Marine at Lejeune, im prior service army. The story about his Dad in his last moments was incredibly touching. We also need to pass along that there aint nothing wrong with shedding tears, its called being human. Much love!

I personally think it doesn’t matter if it’s 4 against 2, 2 against 2 or 3 against 2.. street fights aren’t worth it. Now that I’m older I see it that way now. Too many ppl dying over a dumb bar fight , fight over a b!tch , etc. ITS NOT WORTH IT.

Thanks Jose, brother, you gave a powerful story. My condolences to the memory of your father. Growing up in challenging environments, such as neighborhoods, i am very familiar with this. I grew in one in Chicago. Regarding absentee father, i also did not have a full time father. I strongly believe all challenging experiences should be viewed as learning lessons. Instead of using the wrong emotions, like the destructive ones, we learn not to. Be a good father to your son, be kind to your wife or girlfriend, family, friends..Life in the Marines is not an easy climb. When I out, I dealt with major economic challenges. Luckily, they are in the past. Be strong brother.
