Downtown Disney Day - Star Wars, Hotels, Trader Sam's and MORE! | Disneyland Vlog 2023

Welcome to our Disneyland vlog for 2023! In this video, we're taking you along with us on our Downtown Disney adventure. We'll be showing you all the latest Star Wars merch, exploring the Disneyland Hotel, and checking out the popular Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar.
Join us as we give you a tour of the Star Wars Trading Outpost, the Disneyland Hotel lobby and gift shop, as well as a couple other cool bits around the resort. Then, we'll end our day at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar, where we'll be sipping on some delicious cocktails while taking in the tropical surroundings.

We went to Trader Sam's our first night but we had to sit at the side bar on the patio. It was nice and you have most of the same options but the atmosphere is completely different. We couldn't sit inside because our party was too big (7) and the regular restaurant outside seating was pretty busy and the wait time was anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.

If you ever get a chance to sit inside, I'd highly recommend it! With a big group, it may be worth your while to try 2 separate reservations. If you don't mind sitting apart, that is. Either way, sounds like you had a good time. Glad you got to enjoy it!

I've never gone to Downtown Disney. I might have to check it out. Usually the first day is pool day, but I might be able to sneak out to pick up some (all) of the Star Wars gear...

We love Downtown Disney as a fun warm-up to our time in the parks. They've also got some awesome foods that you can't get in the parks. It's definitely worth your time.
