Very nice of the judge to give him another chance and in my book she earned a lot of respect for doing so. I know some judges would have thrown the book at him, but responding emotionally and then composing yourself and apologizing is something that should be respected as well. Ideal, well of course no. I can have sympathy towards the defendant as well and he was very nice until that point. It would suck to have other pending charges brought up since it is innocent until proven guilty and didn’t directly involve his finance. I do wish the court system would move faster, but it is how it is. Overall, I’d say this was pleasant.
