This is far good. Better learn German in your 6-10th and then a bit more before 12th to manage to reach B2-C1 (I think Test-DAF is the academic requirement here, as against the CEFR). No need to spent insane amount of time, money and efforts in non optimal pursuits like JEE/NEET etc. That time could be used to acquire hobbies and getting better at them.
