    Thanks from a homeschool mom. I have homeschooled 9 years and I am trying to get organized again, and hopefully better. I have a need to make my teacher desk drawer more neat and organized. Even though I only have 5 children-students, it is the same here as what you said. If I am not organized and cannot find what I need quickly, they get distracted. Here, though, that means they go off to play! I really need to get more organized so I can locate things very fast!

    A nice tip is to keep the majority of your pens and pencils in your center drawer for more quick easy access! I have been doing it and it is helping out very much!

And I'm already planning to purchase my EC lesson plan book since you gave such a wonderful tour and how to videos of yours. You're awesome! Many thanks.

    I was thinking my desk is organized almost exactly like yours then I realized we have the exact same desk. I purchased mine along with a matching table about 20 years ago. No more ending up with what ever spare antique, dilapidated desk that was floating around when I changed schools or rooms! I also have the cute kitty post it holder. Picked it up at a local Goodwill because she made me smile. 😊 Another thing I keep near my desk is blue or green painter's tape. It's a quick way to put a tic tac toe grid on the board or mark spots on the floor for games or make a quick temporary label for something. Enjoyed the video!!

    Student teaching with an unorganized teacher and omg it is hard to keep up with all that I need! I needed that tip about the post-its on the daily planner! Best advice I've gotten so far! Thanks for your post! Loved it!

    Hey Tina! Could you show how you use you ECLP in conjunction with your teacher planner for home and work to-dos, appointments etc.? Also when you do professional development do you just write notes in your Teacher planner or do you bring a notebook? I've set up my EC teacher planner perfect now but I don't want to carry a million books around with me! :) All trial and error I guess

    Hi Tina! I'm a fellow teacher (that's why I watch your videos). I teach English Language in Uruguay at two different schools. (You actually convinced me of buying the teacher planner. However, I'm writing with a weird question. I was watching this video and I noticed something: you have the same Gryffindor "keychain", although I was robbed and they stole that too.
    I looked for it online, to buy a replacement, but none of them looked the same - and now I see you have one.
    So, my question is: where did you buy it? I'd love to buy one back, exactly as the one you have in this video.
    If you could answer my question it would mean the world to me!
    Keep posting your videos, I love them!

      +sophieliciousgirl Hi, I am so sorry your Gryffindor lanyard was stolen. That's awful. My lanyard was bought for me by my Dad about three years ago from Universal Studios in Florida.I have no clue if they are still available after all this time. I wish you luck finding another one.

    Your desk certainly looks tidy!
    I have only one drawer in my desk but have a large filing cabinet and good sized store room
    Just wondering where your students were when your alarm went off
    Also, in oz we spell stationery with an e when we refer to paper and pencils etc...and stationary with an a means not moving
    Is it different in the usa?
    We spell catalogue with the ue ...you don't?
    Good luck with your class in the new year!
    Cheers from oz

    • @tinabietler

      Christina Clayton It's called a Keep Cup. I got mine off of Amazon. I like it for traveling and for at work because there is less chance of spilling it all over my desk.

    Thank you so much for this video!!! I am having a hard time with organization and it will be one of my main focuses next school year. I am curious about the grad class you took. It was 8 weeks and you recommend it. I Googled it and could not find a price. May I ask how much you spent on the class?

    • @tinabietler
      @tinabietler  9 років тому

      There is a Daily 5 website and from there I found the class. I believe I paid $435 for the 8 week course which isn't really that expensive for three full credits towards your certificate renewal.

    Love this video! did you create the bulletin boards on the cinder block walls? how did you do it?

    • @tinabietler
      @tinabietler  9 років тому

      3M clear packing tape. I show a roll in the video. That stuff has real staying power. Just cut you butcher paper to the size you want it to be, slap rolls of tape all over the back of it and attach to the wall. Then add your trim to cover rough edges and slightly crooked paper.

    HI! In this video, your lesson plans are printed out and in a binder and I've seen another video you made about the Erin Condren lesson planner. Where do you keep the Erin Condren planner?

    • @tinabietler

      In this video I had just gotten my new planner for the coming September, but it was still mid-May and I was dying to use the new format. I went to Staples and made copies of the planner pages and stuck them in my binder that I had been using at the time.
