Hello, i have a question. I currently use matrix 9 and it has a lot more options in the gems tab than the matrix gold 2 which a friend of mine uses. In your opinion is matrix 9 more complete than matrix gold 2? Because for me it seems better.
Hi, I have a question but it's about Matrix 9.0 I switched back to it but I have this issue where I'm not able to enter Custom Resolutions for my render (Example if I type in 2000x2000) it will always be capped to 1440x1440 its so frustrating at this point.... Do you have any solution on this matter ? Thank you !
I was playing around with the resolution in M9. I wasn't able to get more then 1982x1040 and that was using the setting of 2048x1080. Not sure what to tell you. I'll keep looking into it and as soon as I find out something I will pass it on. My apologies.

Is it just a straight channel or does it have any curves in the channel? Check to make sure the cutter is a closed polysurface and no naked edges as well. Sometimes it can have overlapping.

Do you have anything that is grouped with your gemstones that is not a gem?

Ok . Does your ring have any naked edges or overlapping. Make sure it’s a closed polysurface. Check that as well.

There is a command in the cutters dynamic commands that will let you adjust the cutters verts. Make it more smooth and even.
