- We made a whole bunch of peanut brittle, and put it on the cooling table when it was still too hot, what will happen to the peanut brittle?! Joe was also a big help by fixing up a station for people to write in our visitors book for all the UA-cam folks. This video is a great classic pour and pull peanut brittle adventure !

Love watching the brittle videos with Max and Steve!!! There must be subliminal messaging somewhere because I always end up ordering. 😅😅😅 (it's all your fault, Craig!) Ordering the peanut brittle for the first time and ordering more pecan brittle for the third time...haha! It really is THE BEST tasting brittle, chock full of nuts! Once upon a time I worked at a family business and the atmosphere was awful. Husband and wife constantly yelling at each other and stressed. I'd absolutely love to work with you guys. The entire atmosphere is relaxing and seems like a great place to learn!!
I worked in front of a computer screen for 32 years. To me this candy making thing looks like relatively hard work. When they’re forming, stretching, and pulling out hard candy in particular (not shown in this video), it must be quite physically demanding. In addition, there is a real danger of getting SERIOUSLY burned! The older gent has obviously been doing it for years and It’s so nice to see him pass all the knowledge and tricks of the trade on to the younger guy. The circle of life!
My grandson and I love watching your videos. I have made hard candy for the holidays since my son has been young. I told my grandson I was going to be making hard candy and asked if he wanted to help. He looked at me dead in the eyes and said mimi you can't make the candy. I said why? He said because you don't have a hook to pull it on.

I'm not a big fan of ASMR, if that is what it is called, but I LOVE hearing them pour out the brittle. Most of all, I love eating the brittle, of course!!!
I am used to making hair and body products so, watching your entire family make candy is great and remarkable. I have been making little candy at home for myself just by caramelizing sugar, so, now I am considering actually learning to make candy to start a business. I think It's new and exciting and I love harnessing new skills.
I can't wait to place my ordering late December real early January because of the heat in florida but its gonna be a big order for me, never had your candy and ready for a taste test lol. Great video as always guys.

Hazeleyed Siren They tell the recipe almost every time. And you will. I have, but my cauldron only holds about 1/10th of a batch and my table is too small for stretching. I spilled it out onto the backs of two cookie sheets. But, like my mom always said, “things are always better when someone else makes it, especially if they know how.”

I tried brittle once years ago and didn't like it. I added a small bag of Hercules' brittle to my last order. There will be much, much more ordered in the future--its delicious.

When I found them I went back to the start and watched a couple of videos each day and spent a couple of months watching them grow from a small operation in their basement where they have been since the 1910's to where they are now, they have grown enormously over the last 3 or 4 years.
