Way I did it was set extender to repeat plug in turn on press wps button on extender for 6 seconds and within 2 minutes press wps on router wait for about 20 seconds then goto wifi on your device turn on wifi and you will see name of your internet plus x2 one being 2.4ghz one 5ghz click on 2.4 wait till it connects dont worry if it connects to device but not to internet, goto your browser while still connected to the extender and key in 192.168.10.1 forgot to mention if you are asked for a password when connecting to extender type 12341234.now once you key in the 192.168.10.1 you will be taken to wavlink sign in page type admin and Bob's your sister you are in ,just follow on screen instructions when all done turn off wifi and back on connect to extender. Remember the password you use in the wavlink wizard so that the next time you need to log into wavlink you wont have a problem. Hope this helps.
Worked great for 1 week then down hill from there. Started to become very hot and unstable. Last night unplugged it. This morning won’t work at all. Lights up like a Xmas tree gets 3 lights for a few seconds. Then quits. Tried resetting. No luck.
Video really needs to be updated im so confused the link is literally entirely different set-up to both the video and the set-up guide....i just want my damn internet working!!
wavlink locked me out halfway thru installation. Insists site is not there, and their own password is incorrect! Worst piece of crap I have bought -EVER. Naturally their seems to be no way of getting help. Video cannot help if wavlink doesn't behave as shown. GARBAGE.
When I type everything into the browser like it tells me to it does not pull up the little box for me to type in the words admin or anything I get no little box at all nothing. This is the hardest router I have ever had to try to set up and I still can't get it to work I'm so confused this video says wavelength mine says ourlink but the numbers are the exact same except mine's White. I'm about ready to take this back to Walmart and try again
Brian Urbank That should be your default setting. Was for me. You have to set each with a separate password, in case you wanna limit guests to 2.4. 😂😂😂
