thanks my antenna on my 2015 explorer broke on the garage door and i asked the dealership how much it would cost to get this done and they quoted me at $807.00. Glad i found ur video!

Wow! I got my fin yesterday for my Fusion....that "installation instructions" sheet had me believing this was a much bigger process. 🤦♀️
@justin bronsky mine is a 14, so it will work on yours too.
@justin bronsky no you need to unscrew the stick antenna, you'll screw down the new connector then use the 3m tape to simply stick the shark fin over the top of it.
@justin bronsky mine fit fine over the base...but I also bought mine from Visual Garage, which guarantees that it fits.
It looks like this was posted a while ago but I'm curious how this thing holds up going through car washes; touchless and softcloth.

After a few days worth of driving I can’t even tell the difference. I drove up to LA and back last Saturday after we put it in and no loss of reception.
