Hi Frank, yes i used a switched jack socket. The back panel is too thick to install a socket there directly, so I had to install the jack on a jack plate (which required a significantly larger hole in the back panel).

Im using marshall code 100h with my 4x12 cabinet ( unplug 2 Speakers int ) for 8 ohms and its great.
Yes, the amp can do a lot of different sounds by itself - but it is even cooler when experimenting with other speakers / cabinets as well. 👍

Ich hätte einen größeren Unterschied vermutet, wobei ich es auch noch nicht mit gutem Kopfhörer angehört habe...
Absolut richtig! Der Unterschied ist nicht so riesig, wie man denken könnte. Für einen sinnvollen Vergleich war mein Aufbau aber auch nicht richtig, u.a. weil die Mikrofonposition und der Mikro Abstand jeweils unterschiedlich waren - ich wollte mit dem Video eigentlich eher demonstrieren, dass es grundsätzlich möglich ist, diesen kleinen Komboverstärker mit einer externen Box zu betreiben (was von Marshall ab Werk nicht vorgesehen ist. Die Buchse für den externen Anschluss habe ich eingebaut).

@@bandecho_de Ok, generell eine gute Idee. Meinen Code 50 habe ich auch mit einem Celestion full range (FX200 heißt der glaube ich) umgerüstet. Das hat erstaunlich viel gebracht. Zum einen bzgl. der Lautstärkeproblematik, er lässt sich jetzt mit dem 8 Ohm Speaker etwas leiser spielen und vor allem am Klang. Mit dem Full range ist er zudem gut als beatbox mit etwas Power für Garten- und Poolpartys geeignet.
