A big part of it is how most people aren't proficient with a mouse at all. Those black trench lines were honest to god perfectly done and it only took them 1 or 2 attempts per line.
@@morbal6517 well, but its not difficult. if you know the basic shapes and lights then its one of the most easy things to draw, It may seem impressive bc its drawn in minecraft mini game, its actually quite nice but its not hard at all for someone who knows the basics.
@@polarsystem177as both an artist AND a minecraft player. Yes it is easy to do on paper, but 10 times harder to do in minecraft. For one you have movement, two you have to have good aim to precisely choose the color and tool you want. You have to have good aim for your strokes. And not to mention you’re on a time limit. Of course after some practice it becomes easier but that’s true for all things.

@@004chestnut8 Tutorials, read up on fundamentals, and practice constructing. In this case construction is just the circle plus the terminator (line that defines where light and shadow meet), the basketball stripes are figured out through perspective (can be done using reference if needed) and the color and shading is basic fundamentals as well. If you want to get good at the execution, there's nothing to it but to practice.

If you really want to, it's possible to play Minecraft using an Wacom tablet instead of a mouse.
Makes quick but accurate snap shots with a bow easier for some people.

An understanding of 3D dimensions and perspective can go a really long way in art, but most importantly, it's the amount of time and effort that was spent learning and applying those understandings.

it really sucks when some people cheat to earn success, it even sucks more when you make something and then you’re criticized for “cheating” when you actually have the talent.
It’s a massive boost in confidence when you get accused of cheating when it’s legit

some people cheat to success for a reason, not for the cheating, but for the experience, of course winning fair isn't the only way to do it, however the way you cheat can vary, if you coded a whole program to do it then yes, that's talented (I wouldn't recommend the cheat for public use as that's unfair) and or you could use a macro, so that you could record your computer movement and replay it for a second time. or an auto clicker or etc., it matters how much effort you put into something, and it looked like it was very easy for her, which is great, because she has talent for that, I believe this is not her first, since all of this takes experience and learning.. I hope everyone can understand this but yeah its amazing how art can be displayed

Honestly, being accused of hacking it something like that when you're not feels great. One of my happiest moments in gaming was when a friend had tried to get me into cs:go and during one of my games I pulled some nice shots and was doing really well and like half of the enemy team was accusing me of being on a smurf account.

1- "too good to be true"
This means exactly what ut implies, that something is TOO good to be true. This doesnt work here because the video is real, the guy isnt cheating. So its both good and true.
2- "you can never be too good at something"
This sentence is generally used when someone is really good but has made an error, thus "You can never be too good. Theres always room for improvement"
I dont see an error with this painting, and while its not PERFECT (because of the tools and colors that are available, not because of the user's skills) so he might just be too good at something.

@@FhinxET I personally have the skills as well. Not for Minecraft but I play a few drawing games. There's a difference between drawing a basketball and ultra high realistic HD basketball. I suppose with the time here you're SUPPOSED to try hard and show off, but most games you have only a few seconds to draw the word. I won't say they aren't good at drawing because they definitely are, but they're putting way too much work into an easy task. I mean I used to do that too with my drawing games, but after years of playing the same game, the validation from other players telling you "you're amazing omg" kind of wears off.

Those lines drawn for the stitching were incredibly impressive. You need some high-leveled artist skills to do that.
I’m super impressed how easily he did the shape of a curved stitch on a 3d ball. It would take me forever to get the curves right, and this guy makes it seem effortless.

I come from the era of doing mouse art in MS paint to practice and I can 100% believe block game is a viable medium. Using smaller brushes to blend each layer into one another is something you'll see a lot in indie pixel art in games as well as it's a much faster and effective alternative to sitting there and coloring in each pixel for a more machine accurate fade.
This person has real talent! I would love to see what they do with no time or medium limits

i can't possibly see how you've cheated, because to be able to do shading and depth like that, especially with pixels, you have to have some kind of experience with art
I think cheating is when they use a mod or a program to do it for them.
