+PaulsVag Obama I know, I'm loving it! There's not enough content on teaching English and living in Vietnam. My boyfriend and I are moving to 'Nam in September so watching his informative videos have been incredibly helpful :) Keep em coming Alex!

    Don't forget about travel insurance.

This should probably be higher! He definitely talks about getting travel insurance in other videos. Although, come to think of it, I don't know the cost...

Hi Alex, can you tell us how you send money out of Vietnam? I've been looking into it and it does seem a bit tricky to get your money out of the country. If you have a work permit then it should be fairly simple but what if you don't have a work permit? I've read that Western Union and Money Gram don't allow for money to be transferred outside of the country so that seems like a dead end. Any advice would be appreciated :)

You should film an interview tips video since there's stuff about "demos" pertaining to lesson plans and I'm still unsure how one would illustrate that.

I would like to meet the person who reads the manual that comes with their bicycle.

The Peace Corps finally signed a deal with Vietnam to help Vietnamese learn English. How will that affect would be English teachers in Vietnam.

      Heard about that! Very cool.
I don't think it will change the current teaching scene much as the demand is huge for teachers and the peace corps wouldn't fill it all.

Can you get into Vietnam easily by land from Laos? Or perhaps Cambodia? Will I still need the letter of invitation?

What happens between term times? E.g. summer holidays. Do the teachers go home or do you have to fund yourself? Thanks

    Hey there!
I am not a native speaker and my bachelor's degree is in Business not Education, however my English level is pretty good. I have 2 years TEFL experience, 4 years working for an American company, got 115 in my TOEFL exam and honestly I don't have an accent. Is it possible to get a job in China or Vietnam with my credentials?

You didn't mention where you're from! There are a number of non native English speakers in Vietnam although it's getting tougher (China is cracking down on this a lot now.)

+Alex Stevenson I come from the Dominican Republic. I've been reading about the whole China situation and I don't think I qualify anymore. They were telling me about Cambodia and also Laos. Honestly, I want to know what my options are so I can choose from there.
