The Bible has clear about not changing scripture!!! My church does it’s best to follow the scripture. I look forward to following my husband lead one day😇
the scripture has already been changed like trillion of times. Those texts were written by mostly unknown authors and rewritten by dosens of different people later, then translated and of course altered.

Yes! Scripture is very clear. Men are to be the spiritual leaders of the family. And lead by example as well. Work hard and provide, use judgement tempered with mercy, make the hard decisions that have to be made with rational thinking, unclouded by emotions such as fear, anger or resentment. Men should always be strong. And love their wives and children enough to be the “bad guy” when it comes to their well being.
i am Catholic. I go to a Parish in a different city/suburb from where I live because the Parish in my city/suburb, St. Joseph The Worker of Maple Grove, MN, is extremely politically liberal/progressive. The best illustration of that is that the largest and most active group in the parish is the "Social Justice Committee".
Just because it is a historically conservative religion does not guarantee that the current members aren't kool-aid guzzling socialists.

@@gold707786 No idea. I checked out the parish when I moved into the area, saw how terrible a fit it was for me, and found a parish that I liked in a neighboring town. However, the general demographics for the city is 96% white, asian, or subcontinent Indian (as in from India); and affluent, mostly white collar professionals or small business owners.
Yes, it is true that pastors tend to dance around the issue of a wife submitting to her husband. For those interested, in Ephesians Chapter 5, the wife is commanded to submit to her husband in all things and to respect him. Christian women try all sorts of gimmicks to get around this commandment. It is almost humorous to watch them.
yeah it applies only to those men who love their wifes like Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her and who submit to other chistians, and of course who serve God. So basically it does not apply to males who are not religious. And something tells me that religious men have other important things to do other than watch youtube channels with instructions on how to be an "alpha"

I disagree. If you read the applicable verses in Ephesians, you will see that God does not make a wife's duty to submit to her husband contingent upon the husband loving her. Although it is true that God does command the husband to love her. You see - you are proving my point; you are trying to add something to scripture that is not there in order to evade the command that a wife should obey her husband.

@@daves2520 @daves2520 I haven't added anything, I literally opened the text you are talking about, and it says "Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself".
I don't think that wife submitting to her husband and husband loving his wife are separate, I think they are actually interconnected. Like you can't expect your wife to submit to you if you don't love her, at the same time you can't expect your husband to love you without submitting to him. But, again, it only applies to Christian men and women. The concept of any guy wanting his wife (doesnt apply to girlfriends I guess) to submit to him is kind of silly, especially in the context of this channel.
Secondly, I think you don't understand the meaning of the word "submit" in this context. It does not equal the word obey as you are saying.
And thirdly, I think you missed my point. my point was that biblical verses are irrelevant for ungodly people. So if a man claims that his wife should submit to him in accordance with this verse, this man should himself be worthy of it. As it says he must love his wife as he loves himself (which contradicts the message of this channel). Such man won't be spending time on a channel like this.
