Nicely done! I’m wondering where you actually grounded everything though? I’m gonna be installing some 0 gauge on my dad’s ‘21 AT4 and he doesn’t want any drilling through the body or firewall

Hey unfortunately you will have to drill. Due to 0 gauge too big to go through the wiring grommet in firewall. Below is the video I have of my location.
Ground in back is on the post of the seat belt. Grind down the paint in the area and two self tapper bolts with pre drilled holes.

@@JMSAudioSTL thanks for getting back! I actually found a plastic plug on the floor that I was able to drill through and get the cable in that way. Dad was super adamant about not drilling metal. In all honesty I probably could have and just not told him but I always look for any and all options. I have it wire loomed the whole way front to back so I think it’ll be alright in terms of abrasion resistance. It’s also zip-tied to factory wiring on its way up under the hood towards the auxiliary battery. And for my main ground I used the bolt for the center seat belt with a 1/2” diameter eyelet-fits perfectly! I didn’t shave any paint off because the bolt is stainless, has a fairly large head that covers the whole eyelet, and has a solid 1/2”-3/4” of thread going into the body so it should be sufficient. I’ll have to check potential between my ground block and the battery (-) terminal but I think it’ll be 0. If not I’ll do some sanding, re-install the wire, then spray clear coat over it.

Do I have to go lower on the wire gauge or can I stay the same? I have 4 gauge wire running my amp and going to add a 4 channel 1,000 watt amp.
    With a fuse distribution block

No if you main power wire coming from the battery is 4 gauge. Just use a distribution block and have 4 gauge go off that. To the amps.
I have 0 gauge from battery to distribution block. Then 4 gauge to my 4.800 and 0 gauge to 1.1500. What it’s rated for

What are those things you used in place of the fuses for the ground

    • @JMSAudioSTL

They are just buss bars. Just like a anl fuse. But no fuse in middle.

Knukonceptz sells them. All wiring and fuses and distribution blocks from them

@@Jaydogg209 you want to make sure your fuse is rated for your amp. So see what fuse rating is for the amp and put that fuse in
