Hey I used about 10 meters in all. From battery to distribution block area about 7-8 meters. Then rest are junctions to amp off distribution block What year sierra you have??

Hey how’s it going. On this application we didn’t retain that. But can when the customer would sell the car. Basically cut wires for factory sub and put butt connectors on each end. So like plug and play. When I take the aftermarket wire leads off I can connect factory back together

With this brand of radio. You can bypass it by grounding it. Just can add it to the ground wiring. @@JMSAudioSTL it is the same Boss Elite radio BETACP-SD. Not putting a camera on it. I know on my pioneer you had to by that special adapter. So with the Boss all I have to do is ground it?

Hey with the Bose factory system I have eliminated it with the NavTV module. That is giving me all my signals I need to feed to my 4.800 amp. @@JMSAudioSTL OK yes I am planning to do the same thing right now I’m just running 2 12 under the seat through an LC2i converter but when checking the output of the factory head unit with the SMD DD1+ the radio is distorting at volume 36 if you count clicks out of 63 which kind of sucks so I was looking into possibly changing the head unit but really can’t find much for 19 GMC 1500 Denali seems it’s either 14 through 18 on the 1500s And 14 through 19 on the 2500 s Still looking into it but haven’t had much luck On why all the kits are labeled that way would hate to order it and have it not work

@@JMSAudioSTL I hope so.... because those fronts ain't 'singing'. My installer actually told me he measured those ML fronts at almost 8ohm each. .....I even unplugged the front center channel. Soundstage was a significantly wider.

The brackets are just radio brackets that were in a radio I installed for someone. The screws are just self tappers Phillips or hex head The board to hold the amps, is pvc board

@@JMSAudioSTL ok did you have brackets for the bottom as well. I’ll be using 1/4 mdf for my rack just wondering the screws. Did you have to cut a lot of the foam out.

Foam I cut it all out. Besides the ends. The pvc board what I did was. I took all the amps and converter off back wall. Then I press in gentle into the studs on the the board to get the factory locations and used the same bolts. But in the top I didn’t like the flex I was getting. I used those brackets to give more strength

@@JMSAudioSTL ok but with the foam out does it make the seat feel weird or flimsy I have a 14 yr old and a 5 yr old do one is in a car seat and the other is not lol just curious. I have cut out some but I didn’t take it all out didn’t want it to be to flimsy.

No the back of the seat isn’t supported by that. That’s for the louvers on back wall so you don’t hear the noise that much

@@JMSAudioSTL Sick, I did a muffler delete and it got louder for sure but not that bad. 2 layers of sound deadening on the back wall should help. 4 sa8's going in soon 😎

Hey Sterring button for call you can’t but I know when phone plugged up for Android auto or CarPlay. Your phone will still work in voice assist. For the km/h to miles/hr. That’s in the same settings of the clock time or it’s in the Navi settings. The customer I actually installed this for, she is swapping hers out due to the screen was flickering and cord usb not working no more. Also backup camera signal is working one day and next not. That’s for all the things going wrong. Like it got a kind of it own. She purchased another style with better reviews

@@JMSAudioSTL thank you for your info, for the backup camera,I have no plan to change my factory camera, but I am going to tap pin3/pin19 from the upper display cable. not sure it is going to work 100%, but I will try it later

@@mtbmusic4715 i highly suggest that. I would also do a rca video cable plug with bare wire ends on it. So tapping into those wires is better. So you don’t have to undo a rca cable to get ground and positive

You could probably do the cut out for finger where the number is to see. Or could label on the drawer front lip or what not

It did and no it didn’t. Tapped into the right wiring for lc2i

We disconnected it. Be careful in the panels. They are brittle. Take your time. And also make sure you ground it to a good spot
