I Have been listening to metallica since the 80's and there isn't any album I don't like. They have been an amazing metal band thru the years. I'm grateful their still giving us new music to enjoy.
Couldn't agree more, this is Metallica, and I love it. My favorite on the album, along with You Must Burn. It's fashionable now to hate on Metallica. When you're on top of the mountain as they are, there's lots of jealousy out there.

Ironically, you could take a few songs from this album like Room of Mirrors, Lux Æterna, Too Far Gone, and even this one, and fit them in a playlist with Kill 'Em All stuff and they will fit just fine. If Metallica released a Master of Puppets 2 right now the haters would still say something. I guess they just hate that it's not their favourite band the one that's popular.
I've heard the "Why won't they remake Master of Puppets forever" crowd do just that, dismissing some of the new songs on the grounds that it sounds "too nostalgic." There's no pleasing these people.
As lifelong metallica fan and being my favourite ever band this song made big impact on me when first heard it and in short time has become one of my favourite ever metallica songs 🤘

Exactly! Metallica writes different styles of hard rock and metal, which I love. Too many bands write the same monotonous thrash album every year, no thanks.

I could nit pick a few aspects but I'm not going too because I'm having way to much fun enjoying a solid new release from one of my favourite bands of all time ! Metallica still hit me in the feels and that makes this 48 year old very happy.

Love the new album man I can't stop listening to it. A pretty good band to listen to is The Warning I'm ngl their Enter Sandman cover is great and got me into them! Their song Evolve is pretty damn good
You really feel some &JFA on this song. Those power chord groves & transitions are similar. Very powerful song. It could easily fit on &JFA if you produced Shadow Follows like that classic album production. TBH I would hate this song to change, this is the definition of perfect heavy metal.
72 seasons are much better than Hardwired and DM in my opinion. Each song has something to offer and there are at least five songs that are outstanding, inlcuding that one.
It's a great album. And DM and Hardwired... are by no means bad albums. But this one is even better. I'm really surprised how good it is. I had some doubts after hearing some of the singles. But apart from 2 songs I don't like a 100%, I must say that the album is fantastic.

Try Ghost and Greta van fleet! Ghost's music is great despite the dark themes, and greta van fleet sounds right out of the 70s in a lot of their songs. As a 22 year old I agree, theres not many great new bands.
You should react to Avatar songs, especially Let it burn They're from Sweden and their music is just perfect for me personally, if you don't mind some growls then maybe you'll like it
I gotta reevaluate this one. I like a lot of the songs on the album, but this one is in the bottom half of the album for me. I don't really dislike any of the songs, but I just click more worth some of the other songs.

I love 72S. If you want new metal to check out, I recommend Architects "Holy Hell" and anything by Unleash the Archers.
