I'm super grateful to be living in my dream home (though I didn't know it a the time). It's a 1890s farmhouse with original leaded windows, large trim work, and 9 foot ceilings. 18 acres of farmland and woods to watch wildlife and see beautiful nature. Once we're done repairing cracked plaster and painting it will hopefully be very bright and colorful.
New subscriber. I'd never heard of you before, which is criminal. But now that I have, I am very happy :D I love your happy flower, and your house picture, and the way you use layers and colors. My favorite kind of house would be 2 storeys with a garden level basement, a big yard with trees, a garden for veggies, fruits and flowers. The house would have a big covered porch with 2 rockers and a porch swing, and a deck in the back, and small balconies on the bedrooms, and inside there would be a BIG kitchen and dining room and pantry, and built in bookshelves, a studio for doing arts and crafts, and storage space to hide what would otherwise be clutter from my 500 hobbies. Style would be happy, with the master bathroom being beach-themed and relaxing, and happy themed other bathrooms, and a place to put a 4-foot (fat, not skinny) Christmas tree (or other seasonal decor or just plants and flowers) on a buffet overlooking the porch, furniture that looks like well-kept antiques without weighing a ton, of walnut or chestnut, not dark; a medium fireplace with a glass door on it that never gets that black stuff on it; 3 bedrooms so I could have company, and everone would have at least a powder room, and all the rooms would be happy and cozy at the same time as not seeming busy, and there would have to be 2 cats, and the whole place would look just right in every season, and not be too big or too small. If there was any way to make it look like this while also looking a bit like a Victorian house like in Anne of Green Gables, without being too frilly, that would be perfect, especially if it was on a highish hill with a secluded beach nearby. And all the neighbors are friendly. That's probably too much detail and impossible. And now I'm going to buy the Arrtx 126 pencils because you showed very well what they can do, and I had my eye on them anyway :D So happy to have finally found you!!!

I don't know what those things are called, but like pretty leafy swirly doodads" on draws and stuff like that..... I also love "comfy cozy" vibes.... I like earthy tones for furniture (like chocolate brown, for example) and I like Gray or cream for walls and stuff like that.... I like "open concept".... I love "built in" nooks and shelving.. and such.... Anyway.... your flower critter is sweet and adorable.... and your colouring page is pretty.

I enjoy seeing which style you've hopped to each week. I'm a total style hopper which frustrates my husband. He'd rather I stick with one style and "get really good at it" but I usually go with my inspirations. My dream style house is always a log cabin with a fireplace... on a lake... with loads of trees around and woodland critters.... and no neighbors. Location, location, location... (sigh).
My dream home would have a colorful, postmodern aesthetic with some maximalist and contemporary touches. I want it to have a playful and happy atmosphere, with all sorts of fun furniture/decor and unique objects that spark creativity. I want it to be an escape from expectations, rules and judgements, and instead be a place of freedom.
I have the 72 set and I love them! My only complaint (other than open stock availability) is the fact that the stand doesn't have separate holes. Take out more than 2 or so in the same area and the others start falling and migrating.

My father's legs aren't as strong as they used to be so he can't use the stairs a lot. about four bedrooms, one for my dad, one for my uncle, one for me, and one as a guest room, 5 bathrooms, an art studio, a movie theater, a gaming lounge, a lawn and tool storage, a modern country kitchen, a pantry, and a library.

I’ve always imagined a house that is rectangular/square with a courtyard in the middle. When you come in there is a door directly in front that leads to the courtyard to the right you’d have a bathroom and a closet and a hallway that runs along the side and you’d have an office then kitchen (a door that opens to the courtyard here as well) then a living room area and on the other side of the house you’d have the bedrooms. My goal is to buy a house in a couple of years and I’ve been planning very bright bold colors mostly with decorative objects and furniture while the walls stay neutral. My style is very maximal minimalist

I would love to live in a simple small house with an open floor plan no upstairs so all on 1 level with the living room with big glas doors and bright vibe and when you look outside or go outside there is space to let my dogs run and for me only a few steps and I'm in the forest lots of green .
I keep looking longingly at both these and the paint brush markers but I just cannot justify buying more pencils - so far I have the 120 set of Arteza expert, 36 Faber-Castell Polychromos, 48 Prismacolor Premiers, 24 Inktense pencils, a set I got in the Artful coloured pencil box and a bunch of little cheap sets including the Crayola skin tones set.....is there such a thing as too many coloured pencils?! 😂 😂
I feel very seen when you say you’re a style hopper. I change weekly what I’m into artistically. I bounce from yarn projects to painting to coloring to drawing and I always feel bad when people ask what art I’m into, but I REALLY hate pigeonholing myself to just one particular medium or project. I get bored easily when I focus on just one thing.
There are several upfront affordable colored pencils out there. Unfortunately in the grand scheme they aren’t affordable because you can’t buy the pencils individually. When you run out of a color you are kind of stuck. 😢
