I always felt as though I might have to give up learning English because it was so complex. I'm really happy to see so many people try to learn my mother tongue. Best wishes to All second language learners!
Arigatto gozaimasu
sugoi!
you dont seem like you are weak at english
English isnt complex. In fact there are languages way harder than english but depending on which language you speak english can seem dificult
@@AntonioSilva-ie6yz The thing that makes English difficult is that we have 100x more irregular verbs compared to Japanese, and the languages are very different.
I'm learning a lot and improving also . It's very very interesting to learn Japanese. I'm in love with this language. 😍😍
I am as well ❤️💪🏻
Yes and the country and the culture 😍😍😍
Indeed
I’m moving there 😁
@@ozzywrld8946 wow. 😱😱😲 you're so lucky.
I've watched so much anime that i know 90% of these phrases. Yet I don't understand when they are formed into sentences together with other phrases.
Thank God I thought I was the only one
yoo brooo! sugoiii i thought im the only one lmao
Same!!
Got to learn grammar man to know how to structure sentences my man
i’ve been learning grammar and the grammar is different. Instead of “I like sushi”, its “i sushi like”. And you can get rid of the i in the sentence if you’re talking to one person because the important subject in the sentence is the object and verb.
I like sushi is:
私はすしが好きです。
Watashi wa sushi ga suki desu.
Sometimes, you can just say: sushi ga suki desu, if you’re talking to one person.
That’s what I’ve learned so far!
Currently learning Japanese along with Spanish and German 😊 quarantine made me bored so I decided to learn languages
ayo me to but am not learning german
konnichiwa! just a tip, i would suggest learning one language at a time, because japanese has a lot of borrowed words from many different languages including spanish.
Same! 😀
Hi guyz!! Do you want to practice basic japanese conversation with me???
And i am learning english and japonese hehe , i am from brazil
I love japan..i love to learn japanese language..
Don’t really recommend using “Sayonara” that often because it Used when you don’t really know if you gonna see the person your saying “Sayonara” to ever again, if it’s a friend or you’re sure you’ll meet the person again you can just say = “Bai Bai” or “Mata Raishuu” , Hope i helped!
Thankyou bro ❤u help me alot
Ja'ne is also a good word. I agree with the sayonara😊

thank you so much Japanese 101 for helping me tremendously in my japanese self learning. im learning japanese bc it's a dream to settle in japan and i think knowing the language will help me communicate with people. i also really love the culture and the history of japan and i love reading traditional stories like the tale of genji. learning japanese as my fourth language, quarantine made us all so productive heh. lets go!!
Im the same just i cant understand Japanese/ asian writing and i want to learn Japanese but mainly im busy so im gonna try learn a bit more frequently because i would love to live in Japan

This is amazing! I really like your lessons, They are free and very helpful!!!
Thank you for the vid.We need more of this.
Well this just taught me how much I don't know even if I recognize many words and phrases. Community college here we come!
I FINALLY FINISHED THE VID AFTER 4 DAYS. Might take a week to speed up my writing and reading skills tho. Good luck to the others!
Thank you for this helpful content.💗
I am in a new process of re learning after unlearned most of the language I knew, fortunately now is easier and faster. Thanks for keep uploading this videos. Keep up this great work and again thanks for the opportunity of learning a new language even if it is not very likely I will ever totally learn it or even use it
I lived in Japan for 6 years - and it is amazing how quickly you forget things - mind you, it was ages ago! Appreciated - my basics needed brushing up!
Good stuff, everyone needs a refresh on the basics even if they seem trivial, it's important to make sure you have those simple things down still
Thank u so much , this literally improved my japanese
Japanese is such a graceful language
this videos are really helpful
I’ve been learning Japanese for a year and I can almost read it
How can you read this seriously, i cant even speak it let alone read it😭😂
@@sgg_02x Hiragana and katakana aren't too bad. They're like the English alphabet but longer. It's just the minimum 2000 kanji you need to know lol.
Hundo ikai moto eito negotimato in kingalun hen ikan hoki
@@alliyahhicks3904 to be honest w/u,i really hate learning Japanese before, but when i realized that learning was fun and helpful,i started to study hiragana and katakana by just watching through youtube.Though it's hard to memorize all the characters, but sooner i already know how to read and write these two script.Gooduck to kanji self!😅😁
Thank you I’m learned so much!!
these videos are so helpful its defiantly best when you can see the spelling of the pronunciation its missing in a couple videos and tools from the website but would make things a lot easier
I love that Teacher...great job!
3rd month of learning Japanese without my parents knowing because they'd tell me either improve on my English bc I suck at my main language or tell me to learn Spanish first✌🏻
Spanish is pointless.
parents are turds am i right. nah jk respect your elders. even if they're old and crunchy they usually know what's best
@@TokyoXtreme its apparently more useful than any other second language if you live in the US. we are connected to mexico and south america you know
@@humanbean3 OK, I guess if you are planning a trip to Mexico and / or south America, then I can see how Spanish would be useful. Personally, I would rather stay out of those places.
@@TokyoXtreme of course its better to learn something you're interested in. u gotta be motivated. "useful" is kind of objective , but you'll definitely find more jobs in the US that can make use of the spanish. a thousand times more at least. but yeah whats "useful" is different for each person so im not saying you're wrong :D
Muchisimas Gracias, Thank you so much!!!!
thank you risa!
the proper way to say "good morning" is: "ohayou gozai masu"
good evening is: "konbanwa"
good night is: "oyasuminasai" because I think "oyasumi" generaly means "absence". correct me if I'm wrong, Japanese speakers!
I am a Japanese person and I agree with this
Same with Arigato it's Arigato gozaimasu
@@sailorsaiko.9192 probably cause its short and easier to pronounce then the full thing
ohayou gozaimasu is the formal way to say good morning while ohayou is the casual or the informal way to say it, likewise arigatou gozaimasu,(gozaimasu is used to imply politeness).
oyasumi is casual form for goodnight, oyasuminasai is too polite
HOW MANY of you agree that she's beautiful!!😆
I agree!
Me too!!!
I also agree
I do

made a sentence here it is : konnichiwa , o-genki desu ka
@@IM.GOING.INSANE. genki desu o genki desu ka
@@sugaryslothvr4217 Instead of replying with the same question "ogenki desu ka?" you can say your reply but then ask how they are too by saying "kimi wa dou?" or "(name of person you are speaking to)-san wa?" which basically just means "and you?" or "how about you?". It is more common and considered polite to refer to people by their names in Japan; there are other ways to ask this depending on who you are speaking to but I would stick to using their name if you are a beginner as you can't really go wrong with that. Hope this helped!! :)
THANKYOUUUUU

thank you tisa, you are nice
Good video really 👍👍👍👍
You look great and thanks
These long list of phrase videos are great because you can just listne to them over an dover again until they stick in your mind. You can put them on in the car as you drive back and to, to work everyday, for example.

As for me I feel learning words rather than phrases is very good Cuz that way I can formulate sentences from japanese vocab I learned I suggest you do so to well that's at least for me Good luck
VERY VERY NICE😍😍🇯🇵
I found out where to start. 🤩😎
I've learned abit of Korean before Japanese, and I kept thinking and answering in Korean before the Japanese answer came out, I'm confused. Their feeling can be similar sometimes 😂 Guess I didn't waste my time learning Korean hahaha.
Thank you so much 先生。日本語がとてもおもしろいので毎日日本語を勉強しています❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍
I understand very much the entire sentence but what is the word you say after おもしろいで i only understand what comes after it "勉強" which means study ?
@@manganimelover1884 theres two words there. 毎日(まいにち) means everyday and 日本語 (にほんご) means japanese. i think you already know that one tho...lol
