One way airlines could tackle this issue in India is by providing rewards system to it's frequent flyers. A risky decision on an already highly high fixed cost industry but it will definitely make sure airline companies generate brand loyal customers. With each trip booked through certain 3rd party or in house booking system airline companies could give points as rewards to customers. After reaching certain point they could reward it's passengers rewards like free meal, highly discounted fare, priority check ins and boarding etc. It could definitely attract more customers and create a loyal customer base.
Big salute to Indigo air company's strategy ... They know how to make business🔥
Wow thank you for English subtitles ( I am From Sri Lanka)
Our local international airport named “Bagdogra Airport “ in Siliguri west bengal is one of the few airports which doesn’t have any tax on ATF (Aviation Turbine Fuel) it’s with 0% Tax.
Introduction:
The video discusses the challenges leading to the bankruptcy of airlines in India, using GoAir's case as an example. The speaker highlights the recurring issue of airline failures in the country, including Jet Airways, Sahara, and Air Deccan. Despite India being the world's fastest-growing aviation market, the aviation industry remains precarious. The speaker aims to uncover the lesser-known factors contributing to these failures.
Body:
1. Revenue Streams:
- Airlines generate revenue through three main streams: Passenger Revenue, Cargo, and Food Add-ons.
- Passenger Revenue depends on factors like timing, ticket class, aircraft count, seats, routes, and turnaround time.
- Cargo revenue is influenced by the number of aircraft, departures, and average tonnage per departure.
- Food Add-ons contribute to revenue, with the number of passengers and average food ticket size being crucial.
2. Expenditures:
- Major expenses for airlines include fuel costs, leasing fees, and ground expenses.
- Fuel costs, constituting a significant portion of expenses, are affected by the number of departures, average fuel prices, and fuel efficiency.
- Leasing fees involve payments for aircraft use, with distinctions between wet leasing and dry leasing.
- Ground expenses encompass salaries, maintenance, airport charges, and marketing expenses.
3. Challenges for Indian Airlines:
- Fuel cost variation in India is a significant hurdle, with ATF being 60% more expensive compared to other countries.
- Issues arise from the lack of inclusion of ATF in the GST network, leading to varying VAT rates across states.
- The fluctuation in the power of the dollar adds to the financial challenges faced by Indian airlines.
Conclusion:
The video sheds light on the complexities of the airline industry, emphasizing the multifaceted revenue and expenditure streams. Challenges such as high fuel costs, taxation issues, and currency fluctuations contribute to the frequent failures of airlines in India. The call for reforms, including the inclusion of ATF in GST, aims to address these issues and create a more sustainable aviation ecosystem.
The summary encapsulates the video's main points; however, for detailed understanding, watch the entire video.

Per minut plane burns 4.18 ltr
1min = 10 km distance
120 min = 1200 km distance
4.18 ltr* 120 =501.6
Not 5016
Abe anpad 1km par 4.18 ltr use hota h
Passenger Airplane burns around 42 liters per minute. Now calculate!
But still anand bakats will be like modi ji ne sab accha kia, sab changa seee😂😂😂😂😂😂

He should also have mentioned that Indigo earned strong brand loyalty due to their focus on Clean aircraft and On Time performance. Also, the bulk deals every few years allow them to keep average age of their planes low, which improves passenger experience & indirectly reduces long term maintainence costs.
