Ibram X Kendi is the art student who tried really hard to be a legit artist, failed as badly as one can fail, then chucked any pretense of having artistic merit, began throwing paint against a canvas (like a Biden), and became the darling of the art world. Or, should I say, the heroin chic of the art world.
Also agree 100%. It’s so sad to see that intellectual lightweights like Ibrahim X Kendi are paraded around while great thinkers like Thomas Sowell aren’t getting any attention from the mainstream.
I’d love Kendi to try and explain why or how the nba tryouts are seemingly racist . In his view a disparity is racist and the nba has a shockingly large disparity going on 😂😂😂
Or why a black baby born at 31 weeks or less of gestation is more likely to survive than a white baby at similar gestation. Or why a black person 90 years or older has great life expectancy than a similarly aged white person.
Well, he's probably going to say that since the black community is, as a whole, discriminated against, that this wouldn't be counted as racism but as a "present discrimination for past discrimination". He's probably also had that it's a natural point of diffusion in the system, and not something that was done intentionally and so even if it was "good" discrimination, it had nothing to do with someone's good intentions (which is true, since it is a free market society we have).
This guy is making money on a non issue by saying word salad and never defining what racism is except to says a racist does racist things and racist things are what racists do. As for racial disparity we find it in profound proportions in the NBA, NFL, or in violence and crime. He also never addresses cultural and its impact on people of all "colors".

Of course they don't. McWhorter's a black liberal so that would completely undercut the framing of the piece that only Republican "villains" like Cruz and Carlson have a problem with him. This piece epitomizes everything wrong with mainstream media and why it can't be trusted. t's an incredibly one-sided and skewed presentation of a man who explicitly states that "The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination." What he actually believes isn't even mentioned! Instead we get this portrait of the loving family man! And McWhorter's not the only we don't hear from. Kendi has several noted liberals (many of them black) who think his ideas are a problem, but we hear from none of them. The mainstream media can't be trusted.
There's no anti-racism. He is a racist. He sell racism. Without racism he is out of job and money. The moment when he write that "discrimination is ok towards some group beacues etc." That is a racism. definition of racism is discrimination.
When did he write that? I haven't read any of his books, but from interviews I've read of him, he's said that it isn't a black verse white thing, and that blaming whites take the focus off of the true issue. Maybe you read or heard differently though
Also, the definition of racism isn't discrimination, and not all forms of discrimination are bad, other wise we'd all be classified as racist by your brain rot standard. I can't find anything online that even suggest he wrote that, nor did he say it in the video...

I think we can all agree that racism is bad. However, using the logic from Kendi's sayings, by not doing anything about it, even if you think racism is bad, you are supposedly a racist and not an anti-racist? The logic doesn't add up 🤔
@@bgbgbg123 That's a good point. I'm not saying that I am not willing to do anything. In actuality, I would love to speak out about it in an open conversation. What my question is trying to point out is, if one does not go out of their way to be anti-racist, Kendi's logic says that person is racist. It seems like there is no middle ground. For example, let's say a single parent is trying their hardest to take care of their children while taking on a part-time or even full-tim job. If that person doesn't have time to go out of their way to do anything about racism. Does it mean that person is racist? That is where I think Kendi's theory does not add up.
@@MJason32 I think point is more to challenge people. The vast majority of Americans would tell you that they treat everyone equally yet racial inequalities continue to exist in society. So either they're lying or they really are trying to treat everyone equally but the larger society has barriers which make equal treatment difficult. That last part is what Kendi is trying to highlight.
@@bgbgbg123 The problem with your argument (and Kendi's) is that you are - reflexively and thoughtlessly IMO - attributing continued racial inequalities (by which you mean inequities, or disparate racial outcomes) on some kind of "racism". So if someone claims they are not a bigot, and racial inequities continue, they are "lying" in your mind. The biggest problem of all is that the liberal mainstream media (and I'm a lifelong liberal by the way) and most liberals have just accepted this new definition of "racism" that has nothing to do with anyone disliking anyone or being bigoted in any way. This is the huge problem with the term "systemic racism" as well and why it's so polarizing. The idea that because a "system" results in racially disparate outcomes, the system is "racist" doesn't make any sense when discussing our modern systems (post-1960s). If we are discussing large groups like "whites" and "blacks", then we can't simultaneously believe that "systemic racism" is causing blacks to do worse than whites (creating "racial inequities"), but a similarly giant group like "Asians" is doing better than whites. Or a similarly giant group like "Jews" is doing better than Catholics. They system we have now (post-1960s) is NOT racist or bigoted. In order to believe this, you have to ignore that this current system is resulting in non-white groups and non-Christian groups disproportionately doing better than whites. How is that possible? It's ONLY "racist" against blacks but favors Asians and Jews? And this is not a "model minority myth" either. Many modern liberals quickly - reflexively - toss that phrase out and it makes no sense either. If you are comparing giant groups like "blacks" and "whites" you can't suddenly start saying "Well not ALL Asians do well. That's a myth". But the minute someone brings an equally large group like Asians into the discussion liberals start pointing out that Asians aren't a monolith and some of them do poorly. Well, not all whites do well either! And not all blacks do poorly either! Nigerians do way better than African Americans in this country and they're immigrants! Liberals will say "Well that doesn't count because they're a self-selecting group" and they are, but why is our allegedly "racist" system failing to keep these particular blacks down in the same way it keeps African Americans down? Do police officers know on sight if someone is Nigerian or African American? Culture is playing a role here. And the way modern liberals argue is sophistry and a dishonest way of argument. If we are comparing giant groups (and people like Kendi and his promoters are) "Asians" DO better than whites. That can't be denied Jews also do better than everyone. What is causing those disparities? Some kind of bigotry? I think not. Cultural differences matter (see the disparate outcomes between Nigerians and African Americans); so does class (which people like Kendi barely discuss); and so do individual choices. And by the way, Kendi doesn't just want to "highlight" the problem of racism. His solutions are overtly racist themselves. He believes that the only way to fix things is to discriminate against whites (and Asians and any group that does better than blacks). Forget about a meritocracy: his solution is that every member of every group is forced to do as badly as whatever group is the lowest performer. He opposes anything that African Americans don't do as well as whites in, like standardized tests. So he also thinks ALL children should be graded on "their desire to know". This is lunacy. How is that going to work exactly? How do STEM schools decide who to accept? This guy sucks at engineering but he really wants to know so let's let him in and have him graduate and start building bridges? He also believes in creating a governmental "anti-racist" cabinet composed of people like him who can't be removed from office and will screen every single police for "racism" and have the power to junk those policies. His fascistic and racist beliefs are only hidden by his promoters - the likes of CBS Sunday Morning. Read his writings - it's all there. And it's why I no longer trust mainstream media or Democrats on topics like race. They lie by omission constantly.
Trust me I’m equally stunned and baffled by this as well. Kendi is a rather simple race hustler that the mainstream media endorses for some strange reason 🤔

It shows up in policing, unequal criminal justice and other that I have already mentioned. yes individual accountability is important but it does not explain disparities in whole groups. @@andresvalenzuela3817 Impressed? Not impressed? Systemic racism is a fact in the United States. Eminent domain has been used and is still used today to steal the wealth of back people. The Cross Bronx expressway destroyed many black neighborhoods financially. Where Central Park NYC is today was a black owned neighborhood. The govt took their property yes they got money for it but the destruction of the community and generational wealth lost is immeasurable. In California just this month awarded a 20 million dollar property that was stolen from a back family using eminent domain. In the 1900s they bought the beach front property paying $1200 but it was stolen using eminent domain because the whites in the area objected to them owning such land. Black people do well despite all of the roadblocks that many others do not face. In corporate America today if you go to any office and look at the workers sitting at their desk you will not see one black person working at some of these companies. New employee at these huge corporations get 120k plus as a starting salary. You will see black people at the security desk, cleaning the floors, in the cafeteria, driving execs to work etc. Many of these black people went to college. This is systematic racism at the corporate level. Just because you did well coming here does mean it’s fair for black people. I did ok but it does not mean I can’t be honest about how this society works. Systemic racism needs to end.

That test yields disparate results along racial lines. Therefore… I am a racist? The test is racist? Math is racist? Isaac Newton is racist? If my thinking is off, could someone help me understand?
You are oversimplifying a complex issue. Education in this country is not, nor has it ever been, equal. Due to the legacy of historical practices like red lining, poor children, especially children of color, do not receive equal education in a school in a poor area vs. a wealthy neighborhood. Even in states such as California, Asian and Latino students have been segregated during the 20th Century. Furthermore, funding for education, pay for teachers, and investment in the best practices from research for teaching subjects is predicated on property taxes. Public Schools in wealthy areas like Silicon Valley have innovative STEM programs for children, starting at a young age. Their parents often enroll them in expensive extra enrichment and tutoring programs. Poor Latino and Black Children living in lower-income communities don't get the same opportunities in school or the same support and enrichment after school. Plus, the parents of poor and working-class children are often WORKING at night or are exhausted and cannot help their children with Math homework as much as a wealthy, stay-at-home mother. Lower test scores are the result of the long shadow of racist education, housing, and employment policies coupled with less educational support now.

@@LAWoman323213 Because disparities do not automatically equal "racism". That is beyond simplistic. Nor are disparities unusual. They are the norm WITHIN groups, not just between them. Black Nigerians do much better than African-Americans: how does "racism" explain that disparity? Also: Asians (since we're talking about groups on a giant scale between "white" and "black") do better than whites: how does "racism" explain that? If Catholics DID better than Jews (they don't), you could chalk that up to "systemic anti-Semitism" since there are still plenty of examples of it, but that would be wrong. It has nothing to do with "inferior" and "superior" (more simplistic reductionism): it has to do with the choices individuals and giant groups (like "whites", "blacks" and "Asians" if you want to go that route) make collectively on average. If you have one group that has a wildly disproportionate amount of its members besieging its communities with violent crime; disproportionately dropping out of high school; disproportionately having children before they can afford them - "a child out of wedlock" means only one income; and disproportionately majoring in career paths that lead to less income, there will be - it should come as no surprise - be disparities. Also: what this piece does not tell you: Kendi believes (and has explicitly written) that: "The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination." He also refuses to debate any of his bad ideas and there are a slew of non-Republican intellectuals (many of them black like John McWhorter and Coleman Hughes) who have a serious problem with his incredibly simplistic ideas. It's ironic that Kendi points out that simplistic ideas gain lots of traction - like his have.

This epitomizes the slanted and warped way mainstream media and reinforces incredibly bad and even dangerous ideas. Not a word is said about Kendi's belief that we need to discriminate against whites. He's very clear about this: “The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination." It's one of the reasons he's highly controversial (or as this piece puts it: "sparks debate" and is "polarizing"). And his beliefs have been criticized and ridiculed by many on the Left - people who he refuses to debate like Glenn Loury or Coleman Hughes, because his ideas would crumble. It is also incredibly simplistic to believe that every disparity is the result of racism. It has nothing to do w/ "inferior" or "superior". It has to do with the choices people make, and the collective choices any given group is likely to make. If disparities were proof of racism, then the system is "racist" against Christian whites and in favor of "Asians" and "Jews" (since we're talking about "whites" and "blacks" as giant uniform blocks). It would also mean that the "playing field" is specifically racist against African Americans and less racist against Nigerians and Jamaicans who do better than they do as well. There are disparities everywhere and it's not about "inferior" or "superior", it's about the hundreds of choices people make and yes, it's also about differences in cultural values. If there is a group that is besieged by violent criminals at a hugely disproportionate rate, drops out of high school at a disproportionate rate, gets pregnant before marriage at a disproportionate rate, majors in lower-paying college courses at a disproportionate rate, then guess what: that group is going to have... Surprise! disparities! This ideology is self-destructive and dangerous as well. What does it do to an African American's child motivation to be repeatedly taught that any "system" that is not actively discriminating against whites in their favor (i.e. engaged in Kendi's definition of "anti-racism") is racist against them? And what kind of violence against whites might it embolden from angry or mentally ill blacks who are told by the mainstream press and the Democratic party that the reason they are doing badly is because of racism? This piece is a joke if the goal is anything resembling journalism and CBS should be ashamed of itself.
Kendi would be one of the most racist. What this piece completely ignores: Kendi believes (and has explicitly written) that: "The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. Explaining: making the existence of racism easily understandable by: • Using concrete evidence, • Pointing out patterns, connections and causes • Placing the focus of attention on institutions • Appealing to people’s core values of moral fairness and moral decency • Borrowing legitimacy and moral authority from respected sources • Using irrefutable personal stories to illustrate systemic patterns, etc. ***New Hip Hop Music Link*** Prelude to Serenity playlist ua-cam.com/play/PLpCFDKDAJtem-6IJBdvTXNo9MCkeZG2Ws.html
'Using irrefutable personal stories to illustrate systemic patterns, etc.' Personal stories are incredibly easy to refute, which is why they are not allowed as scientific evidence. Top 10 Techniques used to CONCEAL the system of white supremacy racism: 1. Denying: totally ignoring racism or simply asserting that racism does not exist. 2. Deflecting: insisting that any inequality is based on class, culture, ethnicity, family values… anything, but race. Or using words like “diversity” or “ethnicity” when you’re really talking about race -- because any acknowledgement of race may be an admission that there’s racism. 3. Coding: using certain words, symbols and images to evoke racial fears--but not explicitly mentioning race--so as not to appear racist. (Words such as “gang member,” “illegal alien,” and “welfare queen”--all frequently associated with images of people of color--are routinely and strategically inserted into policy debates. Political ads--such as President Bush Sr.’s use of the Willie Horton ad to conjure up white fears of black men, or former California Governor Pete Wilson’s ads of undocumented immigrants--were racist tools used to win elections.) 4. Confusing: cleverly appointing token Black people to positions to act as spokespersons or leaders to promote and justify racist measures or deny that something is racist. 5. Personalizing: blaming individuals, instead of institutions, for anything that may seem unequal or racist. 6. Exceptionalizing: acknowledging that there may be an extremist or “bad apple” responsible for a racist act, but never conceding that there is any institutional accountability or systemic inequality. 7. Scapegoating: holding people who are adversely affected by racism responsible for their own plight, blaming things on their “pathological” value and lifestyles, such as laziness, promiscuity or lack of “personal responsibility.” 8. Mythologizing: appealing to the great American myths: anyone who tries can succeed (myth of meritocracy); everyone/everything is equal (myth of the level playing field), or race is irrelevant (colorblind myth), etc. 9. Decontextualizing: ignoring the context of racism so that things appear to be isolated incidents, rather than part of a pattern or bigger picture. The evening television news is notorious for this, portraying, for example, a violent crime in a black neighborhood without any examination of the causes or.context. Similarly, when white people raise charges of so-called “reverse racism,” it ignores history, white privilege and the ongoing existence of a very uneven playing field. 10. Lying: simply asserting that racism doesn’t exist even when you know it does. It’s easier to lie since telling the truth might mean having to admit responsibility. In fact, sometimes the bigger the lie, the more people believe it. ***New Hip Hop Music Link*** Prelude to Serenity playlist ua-cam.com/play/PLpCFDKDAJtem-6IJBdvTXNo9MCkeZG2Ws.html
11. Rationalization: the act or process of ascribing one’s actions, opinions, etc., to causes that seem reasonable and valid but are actually unrelated to the true, possibly unconscious and often less complimentary ones 😘

When did he write that? I haven't read any of his books, but from interviews I've read of him, he's said that it isn't a black verse white thing, and that blaming whites take the focus off of the true issue. Maybe you read or heard differently though

@Basik ... Thank you for your reminder of a most cogent and applicable quote.

@@DarkPassenger I agree entirely! However, I don’t think it’s wise to attack this person asking for an explanation.
He also refuses to debate any of his bad ideas and there are a slew of non-Republican intellectuals (many of them black like John McWhorter and Coleman Hughes) who have a serious problem with his incredibly simplistic ideas. Kendi on teaching how people to be a victim and a racist.
It’s amazing how this man gets so many platforms and people like mcwhorter don’t. This is scary times. You did this to yourselves yt people. You have abdicated and now you’re done.
This epitomizes the slanted and warped way mainstream media and reinforces incredibly bad and even dangerous ideas. Not a word is said about Kendi's belief that we need to discriminate against whites. He's very clear about this: “The only remedy to
racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past
discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is
future discrimination." It's one of the reasons he's highly controversial (or as this piece puts it: "sparks debate" and is "polarizing").

I did not C or hear that from Ibram X.Kendi. BTW real professors used their real names. We R not only on the wrong track as a nation, we have become a "nation of fools". 😔
When is Ibram XI Kendi coming out?
What I really like is the statement "they were discussing the unheard of, a world without slavery (sic) in the 19th Century" An inconvenient truth is that a world without slavery is still unheard of....... Let's talk about that?
Nobody in the comment section speaking negatively has actually read his books.
Now we know . Racism is racism . No matter the polarity , anti or not, the amplitude is what counts
Knowledge in all aspects is important, it provides the opportunity for a different and better perspective
Q: Mr. Kendi, would you define "racism"?
A: Yes. Racism is the act of being racist and promoting racist policies in a manner that is racist.
Culture is the reason. It’s why it’s a level playing field but unequal outcome
Love this guy.
So you support rasism?
🤡🤡🤡🤡
Debate someone Mr. Kendi. We are all interested in truth. Be bold, brave man and be decisive - the world deserves the truth.
All my nizzles need to reach in their jeans and pull out them greens and send it to Kendi. Otherwise, you're racist.
I am raising two black grandkids.I’ve had them for 10 years. They are now 14 and 15. I’ve had them since preschool age. Everything you said in this short interview is factual and 100% what I have observed since I have had them! I encourage them always to embrace their history and to know the truth! Thank you!!
That’s wonderful. I hope they’re doing well. Have you observed any tendencies as far as delinquency is concerned?

Techniques for Revealing Racism:
1. Naming: explicitly mentioning race by name--using words such as “racism,” “racial inequality,” “racial discrimination,” “racial bias,” etc. --so that racism gets acknowledged and addressed.
2. Framing: using a racial frame to describe an issue--e.g. “racial profiling,” “environmental racism,” “transit racism,” “racial redlining,” etc.--so that institutional accountability and policy change becomes a central focus of the debate.
3. Explaining: making the existence of racism easily understandable by:
• Using concrete evidence,
• Pointing out patterns, connections and causes
• Placing the focus of attention on institutions
• Appealing to people’s core values of moral fairness and moral decency
• Borrowing legitimacy and moral authority from respected sources
• Using irrefutable personal stories to illustrate systemic patterns, etc.

'Using irrefutable personal stories to illustrate systemic patterns, etc.'
Personal stories are incredibly easy to refute, which is why they are not allowed as scientific evidence. Because they are personal, they are not allowed to be used to illustrate 'systemic patterns' because you need actual quantifiable data for that. Just how dumb do you people think we are?
@@dinsdag6juli2010 In civil court arguments, yes indeed, personal stories based on eye witness experience are allowed. I do not know for a fact if it is allowed in criminal court; but it is allowed in civil court and that is fact.
@@alleyepublishing8017 Notice how I did not once mention legal cases in which personal testimony is allowed, and instead focused on the scientific merit of such arguments? And how it is non-existent?
@@dinsdag6juli2010 Right or wrong is open to interpretation and perspective but we do live within the construct of a system that includes litigation that involves criminal court and civil court. Unfortunately, sometimes these ten techniques are implemented covertly within civil court and/or criminal court.

I enjoy listening to Kendi's perspective about antiracism.
A racist probably isn't the best person to teach antiracism
Asking a racist about antiracism. The irony.
Kendi’s brand of antiracism is a set of beliefs that became popular simply by adopting a grand and lofty name-representative of virtuous ideals- so that people were not able to ask if the brand’s ideas actually yielded effective results when put into practice.
Is it too much to ask that this set of beliefs is not taught to children as a new unquestionable and morally superior worldview?
I am not a racist...
Actually, I take that back.
I am.
I prefer nascar to indy car.
If you do a search to see who he has debated it results in 0 debates. This guy is such a schmuck, what he says is so ridiculous, its like he's in 6th grade.
What is the difference between a racist and an anti racist? Answer: nothing
I hear words coming out of this guys, but I understand nothing of what he’s saying
Shame on you CBS Sunday Morning for giving this hustler a platform.

Why won't this race hustler debate anyone????? Love to see him debate Douglas Murray
Ah yes teach everyone they are a victim so they don't take responsibility for themselves. Got it
I helped found a technology business in Ghana in the 1990s, I was the only white person in many situations I found myself in. The only problem I every experienced over 5 years in the 90s was old racists who hated white people, generally they were in government or university settings. The hard working people in the outlying areas were not racist like the "academics". Racism is born of ignorance and prejudice is the story we hear yet I have found highly educated people like Kendi to be more racist than the guy working on the farm. It seems that academics don't have enough to do on a daily basis.
Why do you think those old racists hated white people? lol
@@user-eh2hj8bx6O racists have a wide variety of reasons to hate, I didn't try to find out as it wouldn't have changed anything. Hating someone for the color of their skin is an ignorant and hateful way to go through life and nothing justifies it.
Good story, but where are you getting the idea that Ibram X. is racist? Because he's an academic? Lol, where was the hate he displayed also
@@tramarthomas6105 The very definition of anti-racism in Ibram's world is just reverse racism.

At the Aspen Ideas Festival, when asked if he could give his definition of racism, Kendi gave such a shockingly bad answer the crowd initially thought he was joking. He literally does not know you cannot mention the thing you are defining in the definition itself, lest your definition becomes circular. This is very basic stuff, they teach you that in school, but this guy is an 'academic'.
@Basik If you think I'm gonna bother with you further after your earlier responses here, you are sorely mistaken.

Unlike Tim Wise or Noel Ignatiev, I get the sense this guy is an opportunist and not particularly smart, but not overtly malicious.
So then what does a Level Playing Field look like
Can this show feature a piece on a black person that isn't about race? Probably not, which I why I'm taking it off my recommends.
Not sure how long you have been watching Sunday Morning, but it's always had a nice progressive bent, for the last 30 years that I've been watching it anyway. Sounds like it is not the cup of tea for a lot of people on here. It's not 60 Minutes, it's Sunday Morning. Turn the channel.
@@linguaphile42 What does being progressive have to do with only featuring black people under the limited spectrum of racism? You sound like a typical white liberal.
The moon is white at night! It must be racism! Specially when it’s dark every where! 😂
This aged well.
Top 10 Techniques used to CONCEAL the system of white supremacy racism:
Political ads--such as President Bush Sr.’s use of the Willie Horton ad to conjure up white fears of black men, or former California Governor Pete Wilson’s ads of undocumented immigrants--were racist tools used to win elections.)
7. Scapegoating: holding people who are adversely affected by racism responsible for their own plight, blaming things on their “pathological” value and lifestyles, such as laziness, promiscuity or lack of “personal responsibility.”

11. Rationalization: the act or process of ascribing one’s actions, opinions, etc., to causes that seem reasonable and valid but are actually unrelated to the true, possibly unconscious and often less complimentary ones 😘
If actively fighting racism involves preaching that it is EVERYWHERE good luck getting rid of it ¿¿
Debate Coleman Hughes
I don't think he'll debate anyone.

I was really surprised at number of comments that used a righteous relative or negative reaction to this piece. @TM-yn4iu great comment
Can someone point me to where I can see a debate between Ibram and someone who opposes his views? Let me move on to challenge Ibram to debate John McWhorter and/or Glenn Loury.
He is encouraging people to walk away from a system which benefits them, and people aren't willing to do that. People are willing to lose their freedom to ensure this system stays in place. We just saw that play out in Buffalo. I admire him for trying but I personally don't expect much change.
well said. Liberals will celebrate him, conservatives will chastise him. The masses are unwilling to do the work he wants them to do.
How exactly does one "walk away" from our "system"? I'm guessing you and Kendi did or are in the process of "walking away"? So I assume "walking away" would be coming to the conclusion that you and Kendi are right about everything because you say so or have "done the work" (more vague nonsense meaning reading/watching things that reinforce the same belief and agreeing with you and Kendi). How convenient. Or is there another way to "walk away"? Please be specific. Many blacks and black intellectuals - like McWhorter, Loury, Hughes, Sowell, Steele, etc clearly have failed to "walk away" from the system "which benefits them, but apparently does NOT benefit Kendi, even though our system has benefitted Kendi to the tune of millions and far bigger platforms to launch his simplistic nonsense. Please note that Kendi will not debate anyone. If he did he'd make a fool of himself.
@@tobehonest7541 "Do the work he wants them to do". "Do the work": this slogan epitomizes the problem with Woke-style "thought". It's all nebulous and vague nonsense that can be weaponized on twitter. If someone is critical of Kendi's nonsense, then they have not "done the work" and if they agree with him, they have. If one agrees with his nonsense then they have "walked away from a system which benefits them" (such noble people!) and if they disagree, they have failed to "walk away from a system which benefits them" (selfish jerks!). Heads, I win, tails you lose. No wonder he refuses to debate anyone in public and the mainstream media like CBS Sunday Morning steers well clear of discussing his most racist ideas. And I use the term "racist" there in the way it's meant: discriminating against others (whites and Asians in particular) on the basis of race.
Teddy Jam ... Your first sentence: ABSOLUTELY. Examples of your 2nd sentence: January 06th and subsequent Senate Impeachment Proceedings. The Brutal Reality of your 1st sentence: Utterly Buffalo NY. However, I can't agree with your 4th sentence.
The option of failing to address and challenging Racism may be torturous and difficult but there is no other rational or human alternative. Human Beings must struggle to evolve or implode. Example: Putin's invasion of the Ukraine ...
@@annowens5019 let me be clear, there have been people who have sacrificed their lives in attempts to eradicate this system that was created long ago. These were highly intelligent people who worked very diligently to no avail. Now, that doesn't mean you give up and allow this system remain in place, I simply think asking a group of people to abandon a worldwide system which benefits them will never work. I have an idea of how we can get rid of this system, but it will take a great deal of preparation and sacrifice.

How to be an anti racist? Become a racist…….ya that’s the ticket…..
Yes. What this piece does not tell you: Kendi believes (and has explicitly written) that: "The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination.
