This is wonderful! Jim always gives great interviews, could listen to him telling his stories all day. Edit: now I know why the outro to "Stark Raving Love" sounds so epic! Always loved that part. Thanks for sharing! :)
I’m really just wondering why he didn’t give credit to Rory Dodd at all. I really admire steinman’s work and his personality, but when he was listing off people on the record he didn’t even bring him up. I mean, Rory obviously loves working with Jim because they’ve been working together forever, but was Rory afraid of being associated with this album? If so why’d he sing lead on so many of the songs?
Since 1981, Meat Loaf had eventually recorded just about all the songs from the "Bad For Good" album. Just piece them all together and you'll have your own Meat Loaf version, like one of those countless you tube Fantasy albums. You'll just have to use Steinman's "Love And Death And An American Guitar". Meat Loaf never touched that one.
How the hell can this be 40 years ago!! Crazy!! RIP Jim Steinman
Brilliant... Love the bad for good album, have done since 82 when I was 11!!
PURE GOLD thanks Bro

The story of the guitar. Is amazing. Bat out of hell the musical, really brings it to life. Can't wait to see the musical again. 🦇🤘

Jim, you make my life better / Haces mi vida mejor / Nire bizitza hobeagoa egiten duzu
You can almost sense that the interviewer is having trouble keeping up with Jims mind and ideas.
i hope that guitar movie gets made

I know. On the BAD FOR GOOD album, Rory sang on 3 songs, only credited for 2. I always thought that was odd.
👏👍👏
