If you swipe down from the top of your echo, then go to settings , then "Home & Clock", then "Home Content" , you can turn off almost everything that appears on the home screen which causes your clock to minimize into the top left corner... I think it still occasionally does it for some reason but that'll definitely cut down on the frequency of it happening! Idk why amazon didn't think of this as an option to turn off
