whe i first heard this song i was like "i don't get it, why a happy little pill? why gucci? is this a love song? a happy song? i like it anyway", but after a year, i passed a ton of bad things and came to really bad stuff, i went to parties and started drinking, smoking and any kind of things that make me forget everything and put me in the clouds. then i heard this song again and i got it, the drugs, the bottles, the bodyguards, alone in the crowd, i got everything and i think this song represents so good this time of the teens because we all have something that we do to feel better, even if it's an addiction. (i'm better and now i'm happy, don't worry)

I did struggle with depression but it wasn't extremely bad and I got over it, I relate to this as I know my mother struggled with this. Regardless of the writer's original intent, the song will mean different things to different people.
