In order to get to the next step on your 410 program. Having a good, experienced, crew chief will make a huge difference. Trying to do it all, and drive too is a tall order for anyone. For a small family run team, you guys are going above and beyond good!

Getting a crew chief again was a goal of his, I imagine he just struggled to get something that fit his family teams schedule. I’d think if Carly drives a 360/410 more regularly in a couple years a two car team would be a lil more enticing for someone to crew chief.
That track has crazy grip when it’s right. You can literally see the cars take off like a rocket out of the corners. I live 2 miles from the track. Leading up to the race was a couple of months of virtually no rain followed by an inch of rain the day before. Wind blew with extreme heat the day of the race. A track prep nightmare. Hats off to all the people that resurrected Benton speedway.

Great job Tanner. It was a tough night of racing and I know you and everyone on your crew learned a lot. Take notes and go off them notes for the next time u race that track. I was nervous as he'll when u tagged that tractor tire but u handled it like a pro. Nice job tanner.

Bullring racing tip. If it gets super dry slick and there's a dam run, slow down and ride the rut. I won KY feature doing this but you have to slow down to go faster in a bullring g.

Tough track, you did great. Tried different lines to pass , it didn't work. You went low and learned things. Watch those tractor tires bro :)

Tanner how is your front axle after tagging the infield tire? Those things scare me when you get close to them. Obviously you are probably further away from them than we can see on the camera. Watching this race and knowing how you generally prefer a slick track I wonder if you still like the slicker track even with the 410? Thank you Tanner for sharing another video of what looks like at a pretty decent run out in the Midwest for y'all considering this has all been 410 racing. May yall continue to have a good one. The Shark guys are a good place to look at here. Both Logan and Jacob were effectively in your place. Family operation, both guys were their own crew chief effectively. It took a very long time until they started to see the results of it. There's a grind involved without a dedicated crew chief that the established teams don't have to contend with. You're doing great with all that considered and I'd say ahead of where other teams who do this are for the most part. If you can get a dedicated chief on board, great. If not, just keep trucking, you are 100% getting better.

Good night of racing. Top 15 with one of the best touring 410 groups in the country is not bad. Would just like to agree with what dbsnyder4503 said below. If you really want to take this program to the next level and I think you do, you need to find and hang on to a good crew chief. The top guys in any of these touring series all seem to have an experienced solid crew chief to work with. Find yourself one and move forward. Good luck with the rest of your mid west tour. Be safe and have fun.

I can't freaking believe I missed this Tanner my Best friend in the world opened track championship there when this place was brand new years ago damn I have a note book that would have blown your mind on this place why didn't I see this on the schedule , hell I could have found a micro race for you to drive our car. I never heard of this track! Somewhat narrow track. Great lighting! Nice seats! No real complaints.
Well, I have 2 complants....those exits/entrances on the backstretch don't took safety, to me! I don't care if nobody ran into them. Those are the type of entrances that killed Leffler, Hodnett, and Jason Johnson!

Tough track dude….what else could you do with cars looking like Olympic curling going thru turns.. You moved and worked different lines, had some blazing entry speed lines and made some good passes in tough competition. if you had bite midway and exit with those lines you would’ve been top five easily. those driving skills coupled with someone experienced in set up will no doubt pay big dividends when it all comes together.

I have one.more tip for you but I won't mention it here. Only in person. This will be for you and your sister. Your not going to believe how simple it is. 100 %
If you don't want to get a really experienced crew chief then pay a top setup guy to spend a day with you and learn how to set the car up properly. I have seen no improvement here for some weeks. If you keep doing what you have been doing you aren't going to improve. Your a good driver no doubt but your team lacks setup experience.
Any chance of being able to hire a top flight crew chief? Look at someone like Dominic Scelzi with Jimmy Carr. If you have the financial ability, a top crew chief would give you that edge
