Everyone in Metallica is a class act. Lars gets a bad wrap but if you watch interviews going all the way back to the early 1980s you can clearly see Lars takes his role in the band seriously and he engages with his fans in a genuine way, asking questions instead of the other way around.
Lars only gets a bad rap, from real fans for being a pretentious d bag in the 90s….his white leather jacket was the start, then he thought he was a male model….dude is a solid guy though
Evet, bu konuda haklısın !! Konser öncesi, hayranlarıyla bir araya geldikleri zaman, onlara sadece imza vermekle kalmıyor, aynı zamanda onlarla konuşuyor-onlarla sohbet ediyor, onlara " gruplarının hayranı " oldukları için değer verdiğini konuşmasıyla gösteriyor !! Hayranlarıyla konuşmalarını gördüğüm için, Lars'ın nasıl birisi olduğunu biliyorum !!
My son is autistic, when he and his social group goes bowling they cover their ears, sometimes the lights and the music gets a little much, so they turn the music down for them and give them time to bowl before they open…they have a blast…and they’re really amazing bowlers. It means so much to them to meet people who understand and care for them.
LARS, TOM, and all the people in this beautiful video deserves my respect love and admiration. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. VERY VERY PROUD OF YOU. HELLO FROM MEXICO.
Fantastic!! Well done Tom - that must have been an amazing experience, and taken a lot of courage! I am very jealous!!! Congratulations to your Sister and Brother too for their hard work, and helping you realise a dream come true!
Courageous...Brave...Fearless = Tom. He is such a hero and an inspiration to everyone who watches this documentary. What a great story! Kudos to Lars and the Metallica family for making this mans dream a reality.
Çünkü " sen bir insansın, gerçek bir insan " ! Böyle bir görüntü karşısında ağlamayan kişi; " insan değildir " göğüs kafesinde bir kalp taşıyorsan, sen bir insansın, " gerçek bir insan " 💙
So wonderful :) Imagine the impact that trip will have on the rest of Tom's Life. And his sister and brother too. And probably even at all the people at the place he stays. That's two TRACKS videos in a row for me. Both were tremendous. Subscribed
Greetings from Las Vegas N.V. I am a drummer by profession. I just got back from a concert I was playing. When I enter my UA-cam channel. I see this incredible story and tears of joy came to my eyes. God bless you today, tomorrow and forever. You have a beautiful family that supports you 100%. It has been a very good Rockumentary dedicated to the search for Lars Ulrich. I worked with the Metallica crew for 2016. It was a very good experience. I have played with several artists and it has been incredible. My motto is: (((Dreams come true if you look for them.))) I congratulate you and I congratulate all those who made a dream come true. Att Max Drummer Dee 🤙🥁🤙👍⚡👍👍👍👍
I’m so happy that Tom met his idol Lars❤to his brother and sister that is true family for what you did for your brother there was something in my eye that’s why I teared up 🥹❤️
I love how kerry king is just lounging casually in the background at 1:08:15. Very wholesome video, I think every hardcore fan deserves to meet the band and thank them in person. But Tom is different, I can't imagine the struggle. He deserved this so much and I hope he's still doing okay today
I think part of Lars' amazing hospitality comes from the late great Lemmy. Lars has always spoken about how Lemmy treated him when Lars was just a nobody before Metallica's big break. Lemmy always made time for Lars and made him feel special when Lars would follow Motorhead around on tour. I think this, combined with the band's kindheartedness, is why Tom was recieved like that.
So very cool, the efforts that his siblings made to help Tom make his dream come true and the bonds they made along the way. I too have met Metallica once and they were so engaged and personal to their fans because they know how big an event it is for us to meet them. They are class acts and I’m so stoked for Tom to get to have that experience.
Awesome...I used to give away Metallica Concert tickets as prizes when I worked at this dance/nightclub in the early 90s that's as close as I got to seeing Metelica...good for him..
That’s a fantastic film. The power of rockn roll is universal and can connect people of all kinds to each other. To think how often people say they hate Lars. Gracious, genuine, present, & kind too bad there isn’t more of that in the world. I don’t think Toms siblings should feel bad, growing up means creating your own life, Tom sure as hell has that spirit inside. He lives in the countryside of the UK, has a space that’s his, a job that’s not slave labor. There’s nothing wrong with working a simple job, he’s still a part of something. He got to take a trip of a lifetime by anyone’s standards.
im only 3 minutes in to your film and im already smiling ear to ear. im already so excited and happy for Tom because well its over an hour long so im assuming it did happen. love the title too. very clever. just wanted to stop and say how already excited I am for him. back to the movie....
Metallica could have used this films creation as a PR piece. That they didn’t not but simply participated naturally without fanfare says a lot about the quality of character they have.
I never had a problem with Lars. Even after he cancelled Napster. I had Napster but I also bought every MetallicA album ever. I stole music but never theirs cuz it was so good I bought it. People were stealing his music. I understand.
I don't have a problem with the Napster thing because It really is stealing from them. I would hate to work so hard and not get paid. Thats part of the reason I do my best to listen to musicians official UA-cam channels when I listen to music because they do make money off the views.
wow i just clicked thinking i will fwd to the Lars bit but got intrigued from the start, watched the whole thing - great doc! had no idea they did this was just looking thru their more recent backstage vids on yt, Metallica have always been so cool
i swear ...in all the times ive seen england on tv the movies discovery channel documentries its all ways been raining all ways. does the sun actually come out in england i live in the states and the only thing i know about england is the cars are hot the women are hot an the lockness monster thats it

Lars is just class all around.

1:12:05 says it all. That’s the face of a happy man right there. The power of metal is unmatched
Ka 💥
Lars is a class act for this. God bless all these lovely people 💚
We could all learn a lot from Tom. If he can face his fears and anxieties...so can I!!!
Lars is a great guy. Nobody can tell me different.

This was really cool of them to do for a fan ❤❤
They say never meet your heroes. I'd say Lars pretty much put that argument to rest here with Tom.

Metallica could have used this films creation as a PR piece. That they didn’t not but simply participated naturally without fanfare says a lot about the quality of character they have.
I wish Tom would have met Cliff too Cliff was a valuable and skilled bassist
VERY VERY COOL!🤘

What's strange is when Tom finally met Lars I felt like it was one of greatest things that's ever happened to me... and it didn't even happen to me 😂

Sometimes I act just like Tom does, suddenly being negative and not wanting it,I hate it, but I do.
