I put one in my inflatable boat under the aluminium boards, it works flawlessly, and NO OTHER pump could fit in that small spot!....

so.....with this pump installed at this angle.....when will it start? i mean how deep would the water have to be? 3 inches? 6 inches? I have one sitting in about an inch of water but even when i manually run it,it runs but doesnt pump anything out

It starts pumping when its fully covered, but keeps going for an extra 10 seconds or so before switching off. It cant prime itself unless fully immersed, but then once it starts pumping it will drain right to the bottom.

i baught 1 after 1 year motor went crap

crap quality, I have replaced 2 of them now because the motor gets filled with water.
