The French cleat panels were originally built for storage in my last apartment (video linked below). They were built with relocation in mind, so when we moved, this was the perfect home for the panels.
The frame is all 2x4 construction, fastened together with 3" deck screws because I had an excess on hand. It was fastened to the walls with 3" deck screws and to the floor with concrete anchors in a powder actuated gun.
The door was salvaged from my grandparents house when I built them a newer, beefier door (video linked below). They thought I had just thrown it away ;)

possibly the most satisfying thing I've watched today. Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you for the short concise video without all the intro garbage you see on most other videos. I love what you have done here.
:) 👍
That’s a cool build - and great choice of music, too.
Thanks for sharing!
Now here's a man who knows how to make a video! You show what the project is at the start of the video so the viewer knows whether or not it's something he or she would like to do. It seems like 99 percent of the vids on UA-cam make you go to the end first. Kudos for common sense and a great build!
finally , someone on you tube who doesn't over talk
oh come on, you know you miss the 2 minute intro talking about my life story!
Great video. Thank you.
I was smiling/snickering at the sneaky thumbs up, I lost it at the fart. It's nearly midnight, wife is sleeping, I sitting here awake watching woodworking vids... now I'm trying to keep the tears out eyes and not wake the misses with my repeated bursts of muted laughter I can't seem to contain. Great video, the end earned you instant subscription.
haha! I strike when you least expect it ;)
Fun to watch and great use of space. 🇨🇦
So gratifying to see someone who knows what they are doing doing it.
I love the door you chose for your office. Also I love the entire lay out and usage of old retail rack bars for clamps. Never thought of that!
I LOVE your new peanut butter retail display system! I had no idea you were in the pocket of "Big Nuts."
Or does he have "Big Nuts" in his pocket? Something doesn't sound quite right with that sentence...
This whole video was all just a front to my attempt at a Skippy sponsorship
Choosy mothers choose JIF.
Mate, you should create a playlist with all the songs you play. You've got great taste in music.
Keep doing what you do:
Already got that covered :)

Two thumbs up.
Thanks mate.
That's was badass. Also loved the tunes as well. I'm wanting to build something similar in my basement. Good inspiration!!
Awesome! Thanks for checking it out
Jackman Works you are much welcome 😌
I am a 13 year old wood worker and you have inspired me so much and I wanted to say thank you!
That means a ton Luke! Best of luck growing in woodworking, I started right around your age myself
I had to subscribe based on the last second in the video (and all the rest).
Finish with a bang!
This thing is so badass. I admire what you do.
Very nice work -also like working with wood )))
Опа, Александр, приветствую)))
This video was therapeutic - thanks.
Great work, I may well try doing something like this. I had not heard the term
French Cleat before, always known that system as split batten. I moved house this year and made some OSB stacking boxes for transporting my workshop stuff. I decided to put split battens on the base of the boxes so that I can hang them on the workshop wall as open cupboards.
Love the look of the random boards at a 45 next to the door. Very cool door as well. Great Job on this!
Dude that was awesome. I love the Pallet wood wall cover. Also you may wanna be careful I think there is a bullfrog in your shop I could swear I heard it croak.
hahahaha....that's hilarious, I heard it too
Them's is carpet spiders, very small, but they fart like trumpets.
Trod on a duck?
The new shop is coming along nicely. I like the faux roof inside for more storage.
Thanks man! It didn't take long to fill it up :)

More shop organization coming soon...
Now that I really like. Loads of storage, and it looks good. And things you put in the closet won't get saw dust all over it....
your fart literally won the "like". hahaha. great build also
I wish i knew what to eat to get that kind of airbag

I came for the woodworking, I stayed for the fart... Just sayin.
Noone can resist! :D
Very creative. I enjoyed seeing this come together. Thanks for sharing your work.
Great build vid, but don't enter any farting contests if that's the best you can do! lol :D
Haha I'll keep that in mind
So good. I really like the mix of pallet slats, French clear, and JIF.
Not a sponsor...yet
Awesome video. You got a new subscriber! What's the name of the song you used in this video..?
Thanks! Welcome to the channel. Be sure to check the video description for the link to the music on any of my videos
Jackman Works Followed the link but it's a dead end. Sucks cuz that song kicks ass! Even tried to Shazam it but no luck. Watching this particular video helped me with framing my buddies shed today so thank you for that. Going to be adding some french cleats to my garage wall in the coming weeks. Thank you again for taking the time to respond and I look forward to more videos in the future.
This link? soundcloud.com/agulhasmusic/01-swansong It's working for me. Artists name is Agulhas
Glad you enjoyed man, good luck with that project! Glad I could help out
Jackman Works Sweet! Worked that time, thanks man! Hey quick question if you don't mind. Any suggestions for a miter saw for the avg. DIY guy, building basic stuff for now? I was thinking a 10" sliding miter saw. Either single or double bevel. I was looking at a DeWalt or RIDGID. Any suggestions?
Oh hey Rob, I'm just seeing this one now! lol I'd suggest a Ridgid 10" sliding dual bevel ;)
Love the clear jars showing contents .Think good to add a bar across the jars shelves --JIC EARTHQUAKE,NEVER KNOW!
What a great idea to gain extra storage space, something we are all short of (unless you are Frank Howarth) and have a dust free enclosure to boot. Well done and think the music was a good choice as well.
Regards
Brilliant! Concrete nail gun is sweet!
What an artist! Well done!
most people watch reality shows. I watch things like this. what's wrong with me? seriously, nice job. gives me some ideas for my shop.
my god that looks cozy af! congrats on the build
Dambbb... son...you snapped hard...love the man cave work shop...
Nice storage room. I also like the door, it's like a picture frame to what's inside.
The change in purpose to the left and above the door was just enough difference to make those items more interesting and fun.
the time lapse of the wood being stored in the loft gave me an idea that a rail ladder may also be a nice touch (flip up and hang it from celling with a pole hook?).
A rail ladder is a cool idea! I don't think I go up there often enough to justify it, but that's something I'll keep in the back of my mind
Nice build, gave me a great solution for my spray booth in my shop.
Damn. ......
EXCELLENT video.
Most entertaining. Great music.
Great camera work and shot selection. seamless editing.
Good job. 🎬🎥
I must say I like the cut of your jib good Sir......Nice job and greetings from The land of Oz. You can never have enough storage solutions ......thats a hard and fast fact right there son, Brovo Sir
Fantastic use of space. Really awesome! The inside would be perfect as a painting/varnishing room ;). This powder actuated gun looks wicked.
Man this is so great ! It must be nice to have a bigger shop . The great part is you can cleat the inside walls to ..
Sweet build. That old door deserved to be used again.
Clever! I especially like the hanging drill press station!
One fine build... I cant say how bad ass this is. i have a bathroom I want to re do in my garage. think I am going to do the 45 degree palet boards and reclaimed door. nice work again..
Wonderful! And I also really liked the musical accompaniment.
I love it! and the rustic door is awesome! Congrats!
Wow a man with brains and good looks

Awesome! Welcome to the channel
When you have grandkids, they will always remember your shop. Nicely done, sir.
Sweet old door. Glad someone saved it from the dump.
Yes! I love it, thanks John
I am using a small corner in a garage as a work space, and was looking to create a step up floor, with little doors in the floor that open to expose all the power tools. Still an idea, but found your video here, LOVED it - pretty epic, I like tiny houses as well. So I subbed. Cant wait to look through the videos. Peace to you bro.
That was great. Love the transformation
Very cool man,a little bit again those jars make it look like a science lab
I love watching videos like this, but it's that much more enjoyable when its paired with good tunes like on this video rather than the usual canned techno beat that you typically hear. Subscribed!
Subbed because of the music. Staying for the woodwork.
nice build Paul your work turned out really good knowing what it looks like all finished now you ended up putting a lot of well-deserved work in that shop
Thanks Opa! A whole lot more coming too
i like the clip of you enjoying the finished part
very clever, very neat and tidy love to see more
PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY ABOUT THIS. DAMN!

Yeah!! That's what I'm here for :)
First video with good music!
Nice setup, liked reusing the old door!
Finally someone else that uses peanut butter jars. They work perfect!
nice job the best of that room is the door
That was fantastic! Way to go on that build! Music was on point, edits were great! I liked you talking into the camera, also.
Thanks Rod. I try to talk to the camera as little as possible lol. I'm not a natural like you
....you coulda fooled me! keep doing it from time to time, it works!
OUTSTANDING. U NAILED IT.
Paper backer gave me a great idea
Very cool idea and very well executed!
Fantastic build!
Very well done video, and construction of the wall is great! Really, this is one hell of a video, makes me want to build one even though I do not have a space for it. Very good production value on this!!! Thank you
Nice work brother... A man cave bunker...
Sweet man! Love how you used an old door.
Thanks Chris! I've been hanging onto that thing for a while now not knowing what to do with it :)
That was the most beautiful and beneficial video for craftsmanship i ever saw to the point of wanting to pay for the of opportunity to learn how to do it .
I need to get organized like this.
