The smallest countryside, a beautiful childhood was my past. It is a glorious experience but remains like the memory of a past life.
Due to an endless wish, persistent effort, and a grateful companionship with my better half, I was able to create my little Brindavan in the outskirts of Hyderabad just as I dreamed.

కానీ నలుగురు కలిసి ఒకే స్థలంలో ఇల్లు కట్టిన అది అపార్ట్మెంట్ లా ఉంటుంది కదా. ఇండిపెండెంట్ హౌస్ మనమే కట్టాలి. దానికి చాల టైం ఉండాలి మంచి కాంట్రాక్టర్ దొరకాలి . కొద్దిగా కట్టే అవగాహనా కూడా ఉండాలి, లేకపోతె నష్టం చాల ఉంటుంది. ఫస్ట్ స్థలం మంచి ప్లేస్ లో దొరకాలి. గేటెడ్ లో వున్నా సెక్యూరిటీ ఇండిపెండెంట్ హౌస్ లో ఉండదు. మైన్టైనాన్సు టెన్షన్ ఉండదు. మొదటగా క్రింద గార్డెన్ లో లేక క్లబ్ హౌస్ లో తిరగవచ్చు. ఆకోర్సు రెంట్ కి కూడా ఉండవచ్చు

As you said , gated apartments might have depreciation. But it's best for kids and security wise. Also buying open plot and constructing house is not that easy. We cannot go outskirts to buy open plots as we should have school nearby, offices. what I personally saw is many old age sale their independent house and go to community apartments for easy access and security.

Beg to differ on this opinion - there are equal number of challenges on open plots and independent houses. For many - owning is a one time affair. if you construct your own house, you are bound to that house and when you become old unable to maintain the house - security and maintenance of the house becomes a challenge.. think of how you will live once you retire - can you maintain the cleanliness of the house - physically or financially ; can you maintain the garden of the house , can you lock it and go - . You can stay in rented flat and buy open plot - true - but safeguarding it ? And what that plot doesn’t become part of any residential area, when you retire where do you stay ? Agree planning to pay loan for 20 years with very little downpayment will be a constraint and burden, it is better to save more and plan better. Agree one should hold on for few years before you accumulate down payment. This is first video of where I think what you have said is not well balanced ..

If it is a house or apartment, it has to be gated community. Kids and family needs socialization, safety, amenities and cleanliness. Managing servants is not easy if it is not in a community.
