My wife and I dropped by the Antinori Classico Winery while in Italy a number of years ago. We enjoyed a wonderful tour and visit along with lunch on top of the entrance to the winery with rows of grapes growing on the rooftop as we ate. Needless to say the Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva wine is tight on the palate with cherries and berries, including classic flavors of earth, cranberries and chocolate and with hints of toasted red oak. Definitely savory soft in tannins and a velvety texture. Mama mia this is "vino meraviglioso!"
